Hi Bus takes advantage of HEA* (Honolulu Estimated Arrival) from OTS* (Oahu Transit Services) for TheBus Honolulu. This allows for real time bus location and accurate bus arrival time.
** I DO NOT work for TheBus. I am an individual college student who uses the bus for transportation and had an idea to make real time bus arrival information available at every riders fingertips.
** Please note that I have no control over the information that is displayed to you. I am only the guy who displays it. I CAN NOT help you if something is wrong with the information (Example: My bus never came, the estimated time was wrong, etc). I CAN help you if there is an issue with the application itself (Example: The app just crashed, the display isn't showing correctly, I got a force close message, etc).
PERMISSIONS:
INTERNET - For retrieving bus information
NETWORK STATE - For checking if you have an internet connection
Fine Location - For finding your location when you want to use GPS
Coarse Location - For when you just want to use the network to find your location

I had this app for a few years... And only recently it's been acting up. It keeps loading and can never connect... I even uninstalled and reinstalled... Still no dice.. Please fix bugs cause I really loved this app.

I use this app a lot. However, the developer should provide instructions on how to delete stops from the favorite stops page. I'd give 5 stars if that's added.

Nathaniel. The programmer of this app. I have had this app for sometime. The Pro version which I paid for. A continuing unresolved problem that I have had is when I do a search for bus location relative to my location via GPS. My location and bus location shows ONLY blackened out squares. Please resolve this problem. Thanks. Don.

I am lost without this application. It lets me monitor bus arrivals and adjust my travel accordingly. It is much easier to use than The Bus' system

Only 3 stars because of annoying reminders. Should include a *don't show this again* option for pro users and/or "remember preference". So much work to just see a map.

I love this app. It works excellent for me and never let's me down. Very excellent and handy. Pretty accurate with the thebus' e.t.a.- definately will recommend this app.

Soon as I paid for this the whole system clamps up. The website, too! All good when I wasn't paying anything! Right when I needed it the most, too!

Used every day while on vacation on Oahu. Very helpful and accurate with stop locations and bus ETA's. Would be perfect if it automatically integrated with Google Maps to track location while on bus.

Looks to stay ontop of the information well enough. Id really like to see integration with Google Transit to get directions as well as finding the stop info.

Upset that State of Hawaii only made an iOS version. With some more tweaks I'm sure it will definitely be perfect. Not bad for a college student !
