Outlook USB Sync for Android

I had bits of information in microsoft outlook notes. This app helped to reorient my self with android. Works seamlessly. I use Samsung note. Has options to choose and set preferences. Using for last three years. Will recommend !

I was never able to sync. Next time I'll get an HTC phone (didn't have a problem with it, have a Samsung Galaxy now) or walk away from Google in every way possible. Google is becoming like Apple and keep everything proprietary and under their control. Why I have to pay $50.00 because Google wants users just use Google only products. MS - OUTLOOK also works for me and I want to be able to work in a more comfortable setting like my computer with a big keyboard.

What is up with all the updates? seems like mine updates almost every day, but when i check the release notes (or even the version number)they haven't been updated since march. you guys need to step up your support a bit.

No support, never responds to email as far as I can tell. If Outlook USB Sync for Android stops working due to changes in: OS Version update USB driver update new phone you are out of luck. Sending email again today. Price was

Updating my message, they release a new version 1.170 and now it is all working again. I'm changing my rate to 3 just because they took a long time to fix and had no support or answer during this time. --------------------- I'm using this application for 2 or 3 years and always worked. After update my Office to 2016, syncing notes and tasks are not showing comments correctly and the support does not answer. I would not recommend the application from now.

Great before except duplications with actual sync. Had to go outlook overrides android. As with others, notes and more will not work with windows 10 and office 365. problems.

I've used this app for a couple of years but upgraded it recently, paying another annual licence fee and it no longer syncs from my Android phone, only one way from my PC. Useless. Emailed tech support weeks ago, and again recently, and heard nothing. Disgraceful that they take your money but don't deal with any issues.

I used it for ages, but now I can sync my notes, but on my Android I can not sort by category, nor Search notes. Pretty useless now. There is no longer a Task sync for my Note 4. Need something else.

This Android-Sync software doesn’t work. I downloaded the trial version and it syncs 20 entries. I paid for the full version and entered the license number, which the program recognizes. Now it syncs 21 entries. I have 3000 more that it doesn’t process.

it stopped working on my 5.0.2. device and I almost gave up. Upgrade to 6.0 had some amazing influence and sync works perfect again.

it has a long way to go. Unreliable and very poor support. I am using it for many years and it's not getting better.

Worked fine for years but when I upgraded to outlook 2016 it stopped working...no more sync. It cannot connect to outlook. Emailed support and no response after two weeks.

A waste of time and money

Have a fully licensed version of Android-Sync. Sent a support request, attaching log. Did not receive acknowledgement or resolution. Do not recommend.

But you should tell us that is a trial for 20 contacts and then it's $30 for a license.

The software in pc is a trojan dont download it

Occasionally I Not always syncing, edited in Android, appointments to the computer and changing dates back as they were before editing. What a mess!.! Messing up info in contacts Notes.

I purchased a business license for their software. I then installed the app on both my Galaxy S3 and my Windows Vista laptop but it would not sync my calendar with Outlook 2007. Android-Sync NEVER responded to my support requests. I finally had to sic PayPal on them in order to get a refund! Do NOT waste your time on this company!

Had a licensed fully paid version installed and running flawlessly on Windows 7 and Windows 10 connected to an Alcatel pop C7 and Outlook 2007. When I switch to a Samsung the sync started failing. No errors, but the contacts data seem to get stuck at the Android Sync desktop. They would never push to the phone. Reinstalled multiple times with no results. Also checked all the settings on the phone and they are all correct. No response from tech support from my email of a month ago.

UPDATE: I've just downloaded the March 2016 updated version. It works. So I give it 3 stars now. PRRVIOUS COMMENT: I used this app successfully from March 2014 until December 2015, when I upgraded from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2016. It now cannot find my Outlook profile to sync with. The log says "The loaded MAPI library does not support "MAPIAdminProfiles"! I've contacted Android-Sync help by e-mail twice, but no reply. This was a really good app. The web site says that it is compatible with Windows 10 and Outlook 2016, but IT IS NOT. I see others are having the same problem as me. PLEASE IF ANY ONE READING THIS HAS A SOLUTION, PLEASE POST A REVIEW WITH SOME INSTRUCTIONS. Thank you. Addendum. It might be because I loaded the 64 bit version of Outlook 2016, whereas previously I was running 32 bit software. Advice please?

After weeks of waiting for technical support with a paid-licensed full version of the software I had to uninstall the software and the application. Now searching for the new software that can help me transfer information from Outlook to my phone. DO NOT SYNC PROPERLY

Unreliable! Be careful with this application, as it keeps loosing notes on the phone during sync process with Outlook. Each such loss is quite painful, as some data can not be reconstructed from personal (wetware) memory. As it is, it is dangerous (unreliable) using this application for anything except for the initial copying of the Outlook Notes to the new Android phone (that was performed, as far as I could see, perfectly well). There could be multiple ways to fix this: One is for phone-side of application to make a backup copies of "deleted" notes (as the Blackberry sync does) - to provide user a chance to recover notes deleted in incorrect automatic synchronization. Also, client/phone-side application is quite poor in features. For example, it is not possible to do any export of notes (in plain text or CSV, or come other portable format). Also, the developer is completely unresponsive to requests for help. As it is, this turned out to be a one-time use application, and close to $30 is probably too high price for that.

I've been using this successfully for many years. But since upgrading to Outlook 2016, I can no longer recommend it. I tried to sync and was told there were about 168 contacts needing to updated -- there should have not been more than one or two. I tried to contact Support - and NO response. (Support was also unresponsive a few months ago when I had another, minor problem). I'm guessing the developer has given up on this application, and is no longer providing any kind of support. Unfortunately, I will have to now find a different solution.

This app was great with my Samsung Note 2, Note 3 and Note 4. However, with the Note 5, it truncates the contact notes. I have tried contacting the developer but they are not responding.

WARNING!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Wish I could give zero stars OR LESS. Downloaded the trial but it would not work since I had an excessive number of items to be synced. So, after reading that my money would be refunded if I didn't like the app after purchasing it, I went ahead and purchased the app. Well, it absolutely did not meet my needs. So I emailed the company at two different email addresses WITH NO REPLY! THEY REFUSE TO REPLY TO MY EMAILS AND REFUSE TO GRANT ME MY REFUND!

Not working on new laptop...sent 7 emails and logs over b 10 days!! NO RESPONCE!!! And I'm a Telecom Consultant....Gonna get Companion Link...least it works

No longer syncing with my windows 10 and outlook!

After several years of use I can't sync either my calendar or contacts since upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft office 2016. HELP! Differences since it was last successful include the installation of Windows 10 and Office 2016 (both on my PC) as well as Marshmallow on my Smartphone. Support do / did NOT respond.

Stopped working after upgraded to Outlook 2016. Not a single reply from support desk even after many attempts. Seen similar experience reported by another Outlook 2016 user. Real shame after many years of use – so beware!

This worked OK with office 2015. Occasionally I had to reinstall the software. Since my upgrade to office 2016 it no longer works...

Not always smooth, but it is a versatile, reliable tool to sync Outlook with your Android device. Works with my phone and tablet. Best of the utilities I've seen for this job. Been using for years with numerous devices.

Paid for this twice by mistake & no one replies to my request for a refund

At last it is getting better. Less crashes and stupid error messages but it has a long way to go.

Broken in lollipop. Support does not even reply. Not a single time. Besides, the is no way to know what has it really done. You get just an useless numeric value about affected items. You cannot know which ones.

Outlook & Samsung sync. Love it!

Trial only able to sync 20 contacts n unable to test out the program. Had tried other programs n sync duplicate contacts is the usual issue. Since unable to try it out, I will not even consider it.
