Just recently switched from iOS and this is the closest thing I can find to replicate the experience. Very excellent app. The developer had the brains not to add an intrusive ad-banner like all the other note taking apps. I hope that for the future release the developer will add support for all email clients (i.e K9). By the way i would donate to this developer if the option is available

An undo/redo button is necessary. It is very bad to leave this out. It's also probably a good idea to make a separate text field for the title instead of just using the first paragraph of the note. Also I know you're trying to be minimalist but it would be nice to have some BASIC formatting support. Boldface, underline, and italics at minimum. Strikethrough and left/right/center justify would be good bonuses. Also in the main list I'd rather have my note titles run multiple lines than get cut off with "..."

Perfect, does what it says in the tin! But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have an 'Are you sure you want to delete this?' pop up and a back button to undo deleting writing because I keep accidentally deleting things!!

A password protected note crashed and it said the password was incorrect although it wasn't so I couldn't open it. I deleted the app in frustration.. Having lost all my password protected info.. And I've just reinstalled and used the restore feature and it's all working now.. Very clever!

I backed it up. Then when I reset my phone there must've been an update because the backup is now not just plain text so mine doesn't work!

I recently had to factory reset my phone. I backed up my notes file to my Google Drive and email. Last time this happened, I simply moved the backed up notes file into the Notes app folder. This time around, the Notes app folder is nowhere to be found and my notes file isn't recognized in other notes apps. Any solution?

Phone was dying. Copied everything. Cannot find files to get them back. Emailed developer developer twice but no response. Anyone know or can help?

Hi ! I use it a lot. Please add the ability to search in the note and to reduce the font size to 3 points ( so people won't be able to see what I am typing).

It's so easy to use. My only issues are the absence of the archive folder, how the trash folder just moves the things you want gone, that you can only make two additional folders, and that you can't rename folders, or I've just been unable to figure it out.

This app was everything I was looking for, but the only setback is not being able to set a custom reminder for anything above a month in the future :(

I put a passphrase on one of my very important notes and I forgot the password... Is there any way I can get the password or open up the note?

No unwanted services running in background. No microtransactions. No abusive permissions. No privacy concerns. Does exactly what I need. Why so few apps are like this one?

App auto starts at 2am every morning. Why? That's malware behavior? No telling what information the programmer is transferring

So I just got a new a phone, sheets the easiest way to transfer all my notes to the new one? Also, could we please have the ability to custom order the order of notes instead of alphabetically or by time?

I like the ease of putting things into the app. It is simple and quick! I would love to be able to make a note in my tablet, and have it appear in my phone device for the next day!

This is my go-to notes app. Over the few years that I've been using Android, I've always used this app for notes. I got used to it, it's quick and casual, and I'd never run into issues.

Great work! Especially love because of dark theme. Would be even more happy, if theme would be totally black and font a bit changeble or mono, then looks much more professional in my eyes

This all apparently stores all data in internally in an SQL database. When I delete a note, it disappears from my note folder but STILL shows up in the "All" folder AND in my export files! How can I delete a file for good?

Lack of undo combined with inability to disable autosave, plus modern mobile's incredibly twitchy and awkward text selection, cursor movement and clipboard heiroglyphs makes it EXTREMELY easy to accidentally delete text and never get it back. Plus, not even any way to open/save standard ordinary text files. Come on, even Windows Notepad of all things, and the text editor that was built into PalmOS ages ago absolutely blow this and every other Android text editor completely out of the water.

This app was really awesome at first, I was under the impression my data was backed up to my SD Card, however this wasn't the case. I kept all of my passwords encrypted on the card, im rather annoyed as my phone recently broke and my encrypted note is nowhere to be seen.

Great note app, works wonderful. Simple to use, I really love the archive ability. The only thing I wish it would do is confirm that you want to delete a note instead of it being gone the instant you hit the delete button... Until then just going to try to be careful with my notes.

If you hit enter after a couple words the entire note gets set to the level of the note so when you click it there's no note to be had it was all saved as just the heading. There is no instruction or any way to reverse the hour I spent writing my note just to find out I can't see the entire heading!

Exactly what I wanted in a note app. No annoying ads. Just typing and filing.

There's a few things wrong with this app. - there is no automatic backups even though the app says it does. - you can delete protected notes this is a huge problem!!! Becos of ur app i lost important notes

Good for shopping lists but not secure. The lock feature merely prevents text from being displayed in the app until the passphrase is entered. The data is stored in the clear!

Good app, pretty basic and reliable. Recommended for its limited space usage and simplicity.

The app is mostly good- but after the app recently updated, I lost a bunch of locked notes. I double checked the passwords- I had them on paper- and they were right, but despite that, they wouldn't let me in. Otherwise, very helpful app!

You can write notes and then you can also read them. Like real life notes!

awesome app but there is no way of recovering a note if u forgot ur passphrase

This app is really well done. You can back up, share, import/export notes, which are easy to create and organize. Everything is pretty intuitive (except maybe the category feature, which I didn't even realize existed until months after using!). The developer did a great job anticipating useful features, and the app needs minimal permissions, and takes up less than 1 MB!

Great note taking tool! I tried a bunch of notepads but this has the light footprint, efficient use of screen space, and all the sharing options that I need. Well done!

Very minimal but highly functional for its purpose, creates auto restore points on SD card which is invaluable

I lost all my notes and backups but I never deleted them I just moved the file and now they are all gone and I can't find them they got deleted but I never deleted them

Made it much better now I found out I can have a widget on my home screen
