reddit is fun GP (unofficial) for Android
App is great. I like it over the official because it presents text articles better. The only downfall is it's a little hard to navigate for a new user, but once you get used to it's great. Would recommend for someone who is familiar with reddit's layout.
I had used this app before, but switched to the official app when it was released. I've been having trouble reading comments on the official app, so I decided to try Reddit is Fun again. It works great. Better than I remember it to have.
Great app.. Pro-tip from one developer to another, modify the password field on the login screen so that it's doesn't auto-capitalize your password by default, since passwords are Case-Sensitive.. otherwise, great work!
I now have a Google Pixel XL and this continues to be the best Reddit app hands down there simply is no other choice. I also have an iPad Mini 2 and the worst thing about it is that I can't install Reddit is fun I should have spent the $2 dollars on this premium version years ago.
I've been using the free version for three years, and I've never had a problem or even a hiccup. I just upgraded, the developers really deserve my money after delivering such a stable and great reddit app.
Best way to view reddit on your phone hands down. I now have it installed on my tablet. It's a pretty standardized design for viewing Reddit on a tablet but it is well testing and well done. I have tried other apps and feel that they try too hard and end up just getting in the way of Reddit. The app is perfect because it's simple and elegant.
It crashes every 10 minutes, it's infuriating. I spent money because I loved the free app but this keeps crashing.
I've used both Reddits and this has to be hands down the best one. I love the look and feel of it and the usability is very homey and is very light weight. Feels like a small notebook on its own which has all the information I need. It's like a mix of Quora and blogs and Wikipedia. :) Love the blue color and the bot icon too! Wouldn't change a thing about this app!
Please. For. The. Love. Of. Jesus. Fix the bug where imgur links randomly crash this app. It's happening a few times a day now and I have to start over on the feed.
Does every thing I could ask of it plus it has (some) RES features.
Plenty of features, not laggy. Only thing I wish for is a "view subreddit" button when viewing a specific post, to navigate to the subreddit that the post is in.
Comment section and certain media (usually gfycat) won't load, forcing me to open them in browser where they work perfectly.
Of the two Reddit applications I have, I think this is the better-looking of the two because it doesn't try to "overdo it"... Reddit is Fun just keeps the familiar Reddit " look", which is simple but appealing. On top of this, Reddit is Fun seems to work well and without issue.
In terms of functionality and efficiency, there is no better Reddit app. This app, while it may not look the best, is simply the best.
Hands down the best application for browsing Reddit on your smartphone. Paying for the ad free version is worth it for a clean and smooth display with zero ads.
Used to work way better. Now it crashes every 10 minutes :/
According to online comments this issue had been resolved in newer versions of the app, but for whatever reason there is no update for this the paid version.
I've been using this app for years and I finally sprung for the paid version. I couldn't tell you what reddit looks like on a browser anymore because this app is wonderful and it's the only way I browse reddit. And I browse the often!
Absolutely wonderful interface. The intuition is there and very natural. I love being able to use 'cards' as a display mode. This app is much easier to navigate and view comment threads in comparison with the official app. Very happy to support the developers with a $2 purchase.
Have used this app for years but gyfcat links and other media often don't load making it kind of useless. Hoping for an update to fix it soon.
"Error loading data". I get that every time I open the app. Makes this thing useless.
Resets the page or comment section I was on back to All every time I switch away from it, it makes it annoying and unusable.
i just use this to read nosleep, i used the free version for a year and bought this so i wouldnt have ads, not a bad use of $2
Been using this for the last 3 years, never had a problem. The devs keep making it better and have made an app that exceeds in quality compared to the official app. Big thanks to the devs for making such a fantastic app.
I won't even use reddit on a PC anymore because this is so much better
One by one features have stopped working and the developer refuses to respond to our pleas. This app has been abandoned
Great way to browse reddit. Works fantastic on my Galaxy s2 and s4. Appreciate the full dark theme, helpful on AMOLED screens.
Crashes far too often with the latest update when opening posts which redirect to websites/imgur/youtube etc. 12/02/2017
Overall a great streamlined app that should get 5 stars but it crashes constantly. Multiple times a day, every day. On a pixel if that matters
Really well put together. It's like that morning deuce drop when the coffee finally kicks in -- satisfying and makes me feel lighter inside.
I have been using reddit is fun free for a long time now. I felt it was time to give back to the developer for making such a great free app. Thank you!
Been using this app for YEARS. Paid version to remove ads is well worth it if you read reddit regularly Besides, the app is dope, why not support the devs anyway?
Just as title says... Very frustrating
Could use a bit more customization options, but handles all the basics and even some of the advanced stuff quite well.
Beautiful interface, super easy to navigate, the ads aren't intrusive, the full version is reasonably priced and the darks theme is really easy on the eyes. I never use reddit anywhere else
Been using the ad-enabled version for a while, and decided to just buy this one to support te developer(s). It's just as easy to use as the website, if not better.
Pretty good, but it loses a star because it keeps asking me to rate it every so often.
Hope they will fix this soon
Been using the free version for a few years. I had some play credits, so I bought the paid version. No regrets.

This app is nice and clean. I prefer it to both the official and other unofficial apps. I use the Golden version for no ads, so I recommend that version(around 2 bucks). The dark theme is my preferred theme as well, since it makes it much easier to read. If you're willing to try a new app or just looking for a good app to browse reddit, try this one out!
