Planets for Android
Planets is an app designed by a 18 year old high school student. It features Google's latest Material Design as well as detailed information about the sun, planets, and their moons. Planets is centered around creating a clean, user friendly UI for all ages.
Planets is open source so anyone can make contributions to it. This is why there is an optional ad feature so that users who wish to support development may enable ads. There is also in-app purchases for this purpose as well. Donations/support is greatly appreciated.

Going to regain my interest in space back from the childhood now.
The best app you can find of space in the app store .
Nice
For children only
Maybe segregate the text more nicely in a way? For example, you could align the data nicely.
Only suggestion is to find a better way to display the information. Like a "General/Quick Facts" and then a button that expands, like a "Advanced/In-depth" expandable thing under it. Edit: update Pluto info
A must have planet app! Loving it!
Not sure if the planets were intended to be listed in order by distance from the sun, but if so, Neptune and Uranus are in the wrong order.
Fix so quickly.
It's a good app for what it is. Although you definitely could find more information on the planets on the NASA or Wikipedia websites. It gives a decently good overview of all the planets in the milkyway

Nice app!

Good job!

I give full5 star because I can see all planets and information that I want.
I assume this is a newish app and the rest of the moons will follow. I think all references to other objects should be clickable hyperlinks. Unless this is going to evolve beyond our solar system, having the "Stars" section seems strange.
Planets is an amazing app for students and those that are just curious. It's an awesome learning tool, it's very well made, and I highly recommend it.
Pluto: im so lonely i have no body on my own

OK Andrew, yes I got your point - It is not a paid app, and I am not sure why I thought that, sorry. I have changed my rating to 3 stars. The app looks nice and is good work for a high school student. It doesn't *do* anything as such, but is doesn't promise it will either. The app is a reference tool that shows key facts about each planet in the solar system when clicking on them.
Love the app! An easy 5 stars :)
It's the only best space app
good discription abt solar system....
For children only
Planets does exactly what it says - provides an overview of each planet in the solar system. Nothing more, nothing less. A nice resource for astronomers.
Simple clean and easy to use.
Nice, simple UI and plenty info about the planets. I hope this app will be developed further to include new stuff like planned missions to planets, past missions, infographics of the planets and comparisons between them.
Great job Dev, I saw your app featured on XDA, and this is just what I needed, beats all those chunky apps out there.
i was waiting for this app. Creature came from another planet in our solar system easily with this APP can explain about.
I would live to see more planets infos the ones that beeimg discovered everuday
Nice
Your missing a lot of moons......
Very nicely laid out. Quite informative in a nice easy to understand way. Looking forward to how this app will be updated.

Great source for all ages. Keep up the good work! Love the new U.I.
I like the new UI! Keep up the good work!
Love the app. Only suggestion I'd make is that some of the text is a bit long. Chunking it up into paragraphs would make it perfect.
