About Sensor Monitor, Microsoft Band

This application shows the public parts of the raw sensor data Microsoft Band and Microsoft Band 2 generate, the data that is used by Microsoft Health to create all its insights and activities. Marvel at the raw data those small devices generate and marvel at the Microsoft engineers who've written the algorithms to turn this raw data into what you see in Microsoft Health.

NOTE: This app requires the latest version of Microsoft Health installed to work.

Update now running lollipop. Still the same issue. Connect buttons are greyed out on android 4.4. Same as android 6 users are reporting. Latest update did not help. But thanks for your reply. I await a fix for blu phones

Love the app! Any chance you can add a feature to dump time-stamped data to a CSV file?

S70%

any chance of adding logging features? (especially background logging!)

I was hopeful for this app, but from the moment of install the Management: Connect button and the Choose band button are grayed out. I'm using a Microsoft Band 2 and have the latest version of Microsoft Health. I'm using a Nexus 6P (Marshmellow 6.0.1).

The app caused the band to stop communicating with the phone. When re-installed the Bluetooth icon on the band was grayed out immediately, paired to a Blackberry Priv.

It does what it says... But it would be perfect to get some widgets (steps, distance etc)... Thank you!

Z70%

Very good! Please create ability to save (chart) temperature data, to compare day to day in month view, or hour to hour in day view. (If the app automatically logged data it would be great!) Great work so far!

I bought this app to track skin temp. It was reading my skin temp was 120 degrees f. I turned my MS band off and on cleaned sensors off and was still reading way to high. Using galaxy s6 edge. Great overall ui for the app. Would like more galvanic response info as well stated before.

Works like it said it will. Hope to get Fahrenheit added. Also will be great if widget support was made.

Great use of the sdk. Lots of useful info. Would like to see skin temp with a Fahrenheit option and clean the UI up a bit. Also seems like steps, distance, etc. Shows total which is cool. It'd be nice to see daily or other time increments as well if that's possible. For UI inspiration check out the WP sensor monitor app

Unfortunately does not include data from the Galvanic Skin Response sensor, which is the most unique sensor on the MS band, and can tell you about your stress levels and be used for destressing biofeedback exercises.

N70%

I would love to see a galvanic skin response measurement and skin temp in Fahrenheit!

Update health to the latest version vefore trying to run this :) won't work otherwise. ..

It would be awesome if someone came up with available up to create your own guided workouts.

I can't really see the use of this app as you have no control over the data (can't split, save, export) so all you can do is view the live data on your phone... interesting but what's the point of it?
