Hype Lite

Needs ability to automatically skip missing tracks other than that it's my favorite source of music because of the way hype machine offers a brilliant perspective into new music.

Has playback issues on my s4. Will only play when WiFi connected and will not play running off my Sprint network. Needs updating!!

LG G3, app only plays on Wi-Fi which is useless because I need it most while on the go.

Recently moved from using the uberhype app. hype lite has faster loading times, better looking interface and I think there is also a slight improvement in sound quality between the two.

Just recommended this to few of my boys. They're starting to get the concept about Hype Machine...

Simple and functional. Does what it needs to and isn't ugly while doing it. And this is the only of the three hype machine apps that has Chromecast support.

Since hype machine doesn't have any app for the android platform, this dev has painstakingly made one. Although there are a few bugs here and there (still in beta), it's still better than uberhype, by far. And it's free (!!!). Still waiting for lockscreen controls, though! Other than that, straight up good job.

Great app. Lately on my Galaxy S6 and my wife's S5, it's been coming back getting the dead after it's shut down, and playing music and starting in the notification bar, while the app acts as of nothing is playing. I have to force close it to get it to stop. Still, it's free and it lets me listen to new music from Hype Machine, so I'm not upset about a minor inconvenience.

I've just had to restart my phone to stop it playing music (even after I'd opened the app and hit 'stop', force closed the app, etc.). Unfortunately unstable, would be great otherwise

This has been awesome for playing hypem music. I am disappointed it does not show which songs you've listened to.

I've installed this app last year but it was in a bad shape so I uninstalled it. But omg finally! Nice UI. Easy to use unlike Uberhype that I've been using. Hype Machine is the best!

Love the look and feel of the whole app. Its pretty much got everything I am looking for but it needs some work with performance. The first thing I noticed was how laggy the app was. When this is fixed I would probably give it a 5 star review.

This is the best app for HM. There's a lot of promise here and I look forward to what this app will become. Like others I'm waiting for lock screen controls, and the playback stops sometimes for seemingly no reason, but I'm still happy!

Easily the best Hype Machine app. I emailed the developer with issues and he got back to me within a week with a fix! The only thing now to make this app blow the others out of the water is caching of songs and favourites (like soundcloud). I'm hoping that's possible!

I've been waiting for the official hypem android app for ages and it seems it was just released. I came to the play store to find it but found this instead. Awesome app! It does everything I want. Sorry hypem, your official app just took a little bit too long...

If it was able to show the amount of favourites/hearts next to the song (like Uberhype), and media controls in the notifications tray, it will get a 5. Hopefully in the next update. Dev seems to be conscientious and listening to feedback.

Seems pretty great so far! Waaaaay better than uber hype. Would be good to have a monochrome notification icon though like the Android guidelines ask for. The red's a but gaudy up there

The best of Hypem with a simple, clean, objective interface. Very nice.

The minimal interface seems close to Material Design. I would love to see future features such as notification/lock screen controls and better icons.
