Whether you’re in good health or experiencing a period of sickness, it’s important to manage medical data efficiently, both your own and those of your loved ones such as young children, elderly parents, or your spouse.

What is my blood group? What allergies does my child have? What’s in my Mum’s medical history? What is the corrective index of Dad’s glasses? Where is the cardiologist’s latest report, or the latest prescription for a particular medicine?

All this information can become crucial at any time of life - and when that moment comes, immediate access is vital.

Today, our medical data can be all over the place: with the GP, with a few different medical specialists, in one or more hospitals, with your physio, or just spread out across multiple paper documents at home. In short, it’s impossible to manage!

That’s where Andaman7 comes in. Based on its founder’s personal experience - with two cases of cancer in the family (http://bit.ly/a7vkblogen), Andaman7 allows you to manage your entire medical history for yourself - and to do it all form your smartphone! All your health records in the palm of your hand!

Andaman7 is about more than just medical records: it’s a complete snapshot of your health! Track your weight, information from your dietician, physio, ophthalmologist, dentist, or pharmacist: in short, anything that’s related to your health or that of your loved ones.

** Communication between all practitioners via the circle of trust **

What really makes Andaman7 stand out from the crowd is the way that it significantly improves communications between all “care providers.” In addition to patients, Andaman7 can be installed by all general practitioners, specialists, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, pharmacists, homeopaths, and alternative practitioners to manage the health of their patients. Not only that: they can also share all or part of the records that they create with anyone else, thereby gradually creating a “circle of trust” whereby healthcare providers (including the patient) can work together by referring to a single set of medical records that they can all access.


** Privacy and medical secrets … and nothing in the cloud! **

Everything is done with the utmost respect for your privacy and your medical secrets: no data is stored in the cloud or with a third party. Data is exchanged directly, from person to person, and no one other than you will have access to your data.

** Connection with hospitals via an open API **

Andaman7 can retrieve a copy of hospital data or existing medical software. If your hospital or software is not yet compatible, send a request to support@andaman7.com. If you are a developer, please consult our open, free API at http://developers.andaman7.com.

** Free application **

Andaman7 is free and always will be, and this forms part of our commitment to society. In order to cover the costs of the project, we accept donations from the community. Over time, we will also offer a premium, chargeable version which will contain advanced, non-blocking features, though the vast majority of the app will always be free for everyone.
