Find A Grave

This app is enjoyable for me. I have read many reviews on this app. It seems wrong to give 1 star because a person does not know how to use an app. Some cemeteries names are different than common used name. Some people have not been added in yet. This volunteer work is great for an app user like me. I give it 5 stars for these reasons. It helps me get out and do things for others. It provides additional help for those researching family roots. It has caused me to feel the peace and calm that combats my daily stress.(you know ,the stop and smell thw roses feeling). It may not have the bells and whistles the desktop version has but it has what I need to do the work. I am grateful for this app. My thanks to the makers of this app. My apologies for the critics of the world who seem to like to tear down good things.

The GPS feature is broken. If I am standing over the grave and try to correct the existing coordinates, they change to something else but NOT the coordinates from my phone. You can change the coordinates but the app won't except correct GPS coordinates. Very strange. Sent an email a week ago and absolutely no response from support.

It's great and all. Two annoying things that stop me giving it 5 stars is the date entry format, should be manual entry. The next thing is place and death entries only let you put in the council regions not the town itself. Fix these and 5 stars

This tool, on a desktop, is fantastic. My issue with the app is the inability to add a new record. Searching and reviewing is great, but the inability to add or send modifications is frustrating. Fix that...my rating goes up!

I love this app! It seems like a lot of the people leaving negative comments are just not sure how to use it. It is a lil glitchy at times, but it's never been an inconvenience.

Just downloaded. This is like looking in a dictionary when you can't spell a word. You have two choices. That's it! So you're​ looking for a long dead relative and you only know a state or not sure, then what do you do?? How about name search?

It works fine sometimes but at other times, it fails to upload pictures, even when using wifi.

I made a memorial but after I made the memorial It has a problem retriving it so I can look at it and edit it.

Was able to find my ancestor's grave on their website, but not in the app, even though I entered the exact same information.

Uploading photos right away, being able to search cemeteries in the area and being able to GPS. Just awesome!

Would like to know how to add friends who also use this. I am enjoying the app though.

There's so much content here. Great for use on site.

Why doesn't it let you leave flowers like you can do online? The online version lets you do so much more.

Put in the information to search for cemetery then click Next and nothing happens

I just found it on the Internet and loved how you could leave virtual flowers. So tonight I found the app and I m excited, I ll add my whole family. The only thing I don't like or what is missing..that you can't leave flowers or ribbons e.g. on the virtual graves. Any chance that option will be added? Thank you

Someone had taken a beautiful picture of my baby boy's grave and posted it with his obituary and everything. My son was still born five and a half years ago and I've felt like people around me forget he ever existed. Then a complete stranger took a picture of it.. which some might find a bit creepy but I'm very thankful.

Thankful for the app when searching old cemeteries and names are almost illegible. Downside currently, the app has not worked properly in three days. Continual message of "failed to retrieve", "failed to add", etc on every memorial I open or try to open.

It found mom, her stone and her burial info.. Does not seem to have all graves or completely up to date though. Does not show my ex wife, who died 4 years ago..

I found this to be a great app, both intuitive and well designed. There was no trouble navigating the interface, as I was easily able to take pictures for memorials, as well as add new memorials on the fly. The GPS locator makes identifying the cemetery you are in a simple act of zooming. I would recommend this for anyone who is interested in helping to document or add to the site. I did not use it to do any research. My intent was to help document local cemeteries for folks who cannot make the trip.

F-a-g app is primarily for photographing and travelling ancestry research. If your looking for a specific person on a one time basis use the website. If your loved one is not listed where you know they are... ADD THEM! Not all cemeteries are fully listed it is dependent on volunteers you ignorant assholes.

Just download this to my android tablet. First it comes up portrait. So I have to keep changing my tablet around from the terrible ancestry app to this. I woud like to have both of these apps on my tablet but I have to be able to work on them. I am going back to using them through Chrome. Second I looked up a memorial I had completed. There is a picture but I can't see it. The birth & death are side by side, confusing to look at these to read the dates. I hate the colour this bright green colour. HORRIBLE. I am unhappy that once again ancestry has not thought about Android users.

Started off nice, but then would freeze up during search input. The graphics are nice, but I hope they iron out some of the wrinkles. The Full size sight on my home computer is top notch.

Love this app! I never knew there where so many little forgotten cemeteries!! A must have...oh, and if you know where you relatives are buried, and they don't show up...add them!

I searched for my grandmother. I already knew where she was buried. The app came back with "no results". I immediately deleted app. Not worth my storage space on my phone.

It's a great app! Remember that these memorials are added and managed by normal people like me. It takes the time and work from many volunteers who do not get paid. Good day!

Doesn't work on my Droid Maxx 2 when away from home. It did work on my old Razor phone. Anyone know why?

I must say I use my computer more then app but app is usefull for a quick check for me while im out walking the grounds helps me locate myself in certain secs/lots If you are trying to look for your family do it on website if no results found there then the people need to be added! Happy hunting!! (4-29 16) - Im having issues its been going on 4 days now where it gives me error retrieving memorial as i start typing it jogs around and stops searching then goes back to beginning please fix this..
