PLEASE NOTE: This app does not scan bar codes on tickets, it scans the actual numbers row-by-row on the ticket. Click "about" in the main menu of the app to watch a video demo of ticket scanning.
Mega Millions Scanner Lite helps you keep track of all the numbers you play without ever having to check your tickets. Simply use your phone's camera to scan tickets for the Mega Millions lottery or add them to the app manually. Once you've saved your numbers, Mega Millions Scanner Lite will keep track of all of the numbers you play and tell you your expected winnings as soon as lottery results are published.
This is the lite version of the Mega Millions Scanner app. If you like this app, please follow the instructions in the app to upgrade to the paid version. If you upgrade to the paid version, you'll get everything in the lite app, plus:

This is crazy or insane. I tried to scan the ticket and I had to take many scans, approximately 40 to 50 scans. One of them had a crazy numbers. Worthless..

Good concept, can always be improved. Example, manually entering numbers it shouldn't let you enter a Mega number above 20. Would like to see the same application add support for Super Lotto and Fantasy 5 ( CA games).

This app sucks donkey ballz! Scanner dose'nt register with a dual core phone with an 8 MP camera if I wanted to just see the winning numbers I can go online two words WEAK SAUCE! Let me make a suggestion...allow app to take a picture of the whole ticket and then scan from there might work better especially if you have multiple lines of numbers chea!

I understand you are a 3rd party with no access to the info needed to make the bar code work. So you are stuck with the OCR method. Maybe some states have different fonts? Maybe some tickets are laid out different, either way you need to scratch your scanning method and start over.

Scanned one line a dozen times - determined to make it work. It sucks! Sometimes the green number were correct on the screen and the app would put in random numbers often repeating the same one 4 or 5 times. Waste of time and space - I can check the numbers online quicker.

This is a very simple OCR task. It only needs to recognize a 10 character alphabet with a fixed machine readable font on an uncluttered background, and it still only gets about 50% accuracy.

It doesn't use the barcode on the ticket, it just scans (reads) the numbers, and I couldn't get that to work.

This app works just as subscribed. Ability to save numbers is limited to one set of numbers per day. To check additional numbers, you must get the full version or you will have to delete each set of numbers before you can scan another ticket for the same date. Works best if you hold you phone steady and have the ticket lying flat on a well lit surface.
