Heavy metal, or simply metal, is a genus musicalque born in the mid-sixties and early seventies in the United Kingdom and the United States, whose origins come from the blues rock, hard rock and psychedelic rock. It is characterized mainly by its strong and distorted guitars, emphatic rhythms, the sounds of the bass and drums are denser than usual and generally acute voices.
Until today there is no clear consensus defining which was the first heavy metal band, some mention Aled Zeppelin and Deep Purple, while others leave that place of honor only to Black Sabbath.
