Way too many bugs at the moment, surely the best way for user adoption is to minimise the sign up process? Using just the phone number is why WhatsApp is so popular.
Finally! Verbal, Written and Nonverbal communication entwined!!
the app is promising with the features it offers. some problems when choosing an action then pressing the back button because the actions are turned into a white bar
This app looks very promising and I like the concept. However when you use the interactions tab, (nudge, high five etc.) it leaves a white bar in front of those tabs and you can just see the top of them.
When I put in my Sudan number it couldn't send me a confirmation text, it says something like my number is invalid or something, it's a bit annoying so could you fix that, I would like to use this app
How do I start a group chat? I can't find the button
Why can't I send audio.
For fear of privacy, I'm abandoning WhatsApp, and I spotted this app and decided to check it out. I like it but I've had to lower my score for two reasons. Firstly, there's a minor graphical bug where when you press the search button, the back arrow is overlapping with the text. More importantly, the app crashes upon pressing the camera button, so in order to share photos I have to take them from outside the app and then choose them from the gallery tab. I'm running 7.0 Nougat on a Nexus 5X.
App crashes when deleting a conversation. Can't change username in Android but possible in iOS. Had unlimited app crashes in iOS and It keeps logging out in Android. Keep leaving you messages via Amity Team message center but I get nothing. Had enough and have to switch back to Telegram.⚠⚠⚠
When trying to install my antivirus says the app contains malware... Didn't even bother to install after seeing the message
I haven't had it for very long, but I really like what I see... Was really sad that Amity left me hanging when I tried to high 5 him though...
So I downloaded Amity but now I see I still need to keep my old stock messaging app because none of my message switched over to amity. Please fix. I love your trailer for this app and don't plan on deleting it but please fix or at least give a suggestion for me to fix. Thank you
This is literally my first review for an app. Ever. I believe this app has future so, here's what I hope to see. Audio message (without having to have holding the record button but just tap once and tap again to send), battery thing is good only if you can always see your friend's battery level next to his/her name. Video call option? Custom gifs that we can save? Am I asking too much already? Keep up the good work team!
Share username just links to generic link. Add number just adds blank number to phone book. No find users via facebook option. Watsapp and wechat does pretty much everything this app advertises.
3-4 Crashes within 5 minutes, unusable...
Invite everyone to use this app better we can use whatsapp
Guys, I like the concept very well but first and foremost, please implement a Google sign in or an FB one. Despite confirming phone number, you are asking user to create an account. This for sure will drive them away from even trying.
Amazing application concept. It is still in beta, I have found a bug i.e. If i click on "Sign up" >> "Confirm my number" and press back(without entering any number or anything), it displays a progress dialog "Verifying your number" and it is now stuck there. Hoping for a great application.
Good creation but needs more improvement. Messages get delivered with considerable lag. Battery and high five concept appreciable. Emoticon display needs to improve.
I don't want to have to create an account if I already give my phone number
Your messenger is awesome, Wishes to that single "Developer". I'd like to work with your team.
Has long ways to go to call it anything close to iMessage.
Super cool design, waiting for its final build
Excellent
This app is fantastic. Excellent layout, easy to function. Love that the nudge is back in action! I can't wait until I get the Gold Hi Five feature!
This is Gold!! Hopefully the masses adopt it and we can enjoy a much more immersive messaging experience
Nice, clean interfaces and just a joy to use. Reminds me of the good old days when msn messenger first launched.
Wow! The future is here. 5/5 app. Easy to use and looks sensational.
But I need some friends.
Tried the app... Really good .... Waiting for all ios features to come on android...
What I've been waiting for!
Awesome
Hey I have Kaspersky interested security installed on my phone and everytime I download this app if finds a threat in the app and it makes me uninstall it right away.
I'm so disappointed it doesn't work on the DP5 of Nougat. I was willing to try it with a friend but it was impossible.
Good idea but need so much work to make it more stable. And all that needs to be done before the release of Google Allo. Good luck!
Signed up, verified email, and was able to send a text. Closed the app and reopened. Is asking me to sign in...I know my credentials are right but it won't let me sign in.
Kapersky detects this app as a Trojan. Im aware that false positives can happen but uninstalled until viable proof that it's not.
My Antivirus says this app has a trojan
Good technical support!

Great premise and cool features, but if others have to be using Amity in order for me to message them, this is a deal breaker. I'm not inviting anyone to some obscure app just because I like it. Needs the ability to message anyone on any platform.
