Amwell: Doctor Visits 24/7

I had a great experience! The entire visit took less than five minutes and the doctor was easy to understand and very personable. The only thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the waiting time as I had 1 person ahead of me but considering the fact that I was at home, this was a minimal annoyance. Will definitely use again!

Don't get me wrong the doctor was very nice, polite, and competent. technically, the app needs work. The video of my doctor did not work, and entering information is tedious and buggy.

I've used this a few times and the service was great! I'd definitely recommend it, saves a lot of time and traveling.

Out of easily 20 attempts to get in contact with a physician, I have yet to talk to a doctor tonight . . I have no idea what is wrong with their system, but I should have just gone to Urgent Care and gotten the care I needed, rather than messing around with this for the last 4 hours . . I've tried everything . . I really wanted this to work, but I'm pretty disappointed.

Was able to get prescription for what I needed.

Very easy to use. The doctor I saw was very professional, helpful and straight to the point. Some people are complaining about inputting their birthdate and how long it takes. However, if you click on the year it will allow you to punch in your DOB. The wait time to see a doctor was less than 5 minutes. If you need to see a doctor on the fly, definitely give this app a shot.

I LOVE this app! I have 3 kids under 2 and getting to the doctor when I'm sick is a daunting task. AMWELL makes it SO easy to see a provider and get prescriptions if necessary. The whole appointment start to finish took 10 min. The provider was AMAZING. She was knowledgeable, sweet and personable and very helpful. I highly recommend this app.

I liked the Doctor. She was very helpful. It was very easy to use. The reason for 4 stars is because it is ridiculous that to get to the year of your birth, you have to scroll all the way back to, lets say, the 40's. You should be able to just type in the date. Then if you are on your spouse's insurance, you also have to scroll all the way back to their birthdate. Just ridiculous! They need to fix that!

I went ahead with 5 stars because the service was awesome. This was literally the best doctors appointment I have had in years. Dr. Gomez-Goldman was unbelievably caring and patient. She listened and took her time and did not try to rush. The only thing I would say about the Google play app for Android that almost knocked it down a star is that something must be done about the sign up process. On the app, to put in a birthdate, you have to scroll. I am 46 so I would have had to scroll the date back month by month to 1970. That's ridiculous. I switched over to my laptop instead where the sign up process was much simpler. The AmWell service is fabulous though and I would highly recommend it.

Took off two stars because inputting my birthday was ridiculously time consuming. Having to scroll back month by month to the 1970s instead of allowing me to input the date is idiotic. The rest of the experience was great.

The birthdate calendar widget needs to go - allow people to enter their birthdate directly or choose month day and year. Scrolling month by month back 40 plus years for both spouse and subscriber was a pain and took forever! Used it once - first time I tried, it couldn't access my insurance info and tried to charge full price.

Wasn't as scary as I thought... I'm a truck driver it is very hard for me to have time to see the doctor out here. This was easy, fast, effective in what I needed, without a long office wait.

Omg, I had no idea how easy this was going to be! I was a little frustrated during registration because it timed out on me due to a mistake I made and turning my medications. Word to the wise; do not copy and paste all your medications at once and then hit done. Enter them 1 by 1; lol.

I knew what was wrong as it is a reoccurring infection every 3 - 4 years. Doctor agreed and got a prescription sent to the pharmacy. Very quick process.

Dr. Walsh was very rude. Than she told us to wait it out and see what develops. We will not be using amwell again.

I used this app in iOS and it was excellent! I just moved to android and this app isn't working for me. When I launch it, the wheel spins and spins and then nothing. I'm using a Galaxy S8. Please fix!

The only good thing I found was the app itself works... but do not like the service. It was awkward, inquiring about adhd and anxiety and depression... the dr said they can't prescribe anything for this online, which I did not realize before, and that was it... maybe better for general cold or stomach issues, but I will not use again unless have to, wasted about $40 per minute for this visit lol For those with issue entering birth year TAP ON THE YEAR and you can easily scroll to select

Love the doc's and this service !!! When you're sick, or your child's sick, this is so much easier, and faster, than trying to get into your doctor's office or urgent care. And you're not spreading germs every where.

These people complaining about scrolling back to birth year are dumb. Just tap on the year and it pulls up a wheel.

You can't be this stupid. Im so old it took 20 minutes to click back month by month to make may of 1973 my birthday during he registration process. Everyone knows how to type. You are fuckingidiots.

Used this twice now, super easy to use, very satisfied with the visits. With my insurance it's only $10 a visit but even at $59 would be well worth avoiding urgent care of waiting days to see PCP when you don't feel well. And I got to stay in my jammies!

This was such a great experience. I felt the doctor was knowledgeable and very processional. We are in an area with no urgent care facilities and this service is wonderful. We will use this again.

I awoke this morning with cystitis symptoms. I had a script within 15 minutes, including downloading the app! Very convenient!

So easy to see a doctor quickly. Why drive and then wait at the urgent Care for common issues like colds etc.

It's crazy to think that you can go online and get relief for a cough but you can. I don't have to drive to visit the doctor. So far I love it.

Very easy to use. Video chat with physician, very professional, takes their time, listens to what you have to say. Fast, easy and affordable. Better then sitting in a waiting area at urgent care. Love using Amwell!

This is a great, professional app, the doctors are excellent, and it's cheaper than anywhere else if you don't have insurance.

Saw a doctor in 5 min and had all my questions answered in 5 more. Beats waiting 30 to get to a room and 30 more waiting in the room. Connection was alright but you have to wait for a second for each other to stop talking to ask or answer questions.

Look at the number of 1 star reviews. Waited 45 minutes. Got disconnected first time without even seeing the doctor and it said I was charged. Had to wait again to make sure I wasn't charged. Never connected to a doctor. Finally went back to doctor on demand. More expensive but this was a complete waste of time and energy. Avoid.

Doctor visit was easy and got right to the point. Love not having to go into an office when I'm not feeling well, and getting the care I need right from the couch. Awesome!

Third time using this app, and I absolutely love it. The doctors are pleasant, take the time to answer any questions, and are very professional. It is so nice to be able to get your kids treated without having to sit in a waiting room.

Can't use it. What developer thought it would be convenient to scroll back 57 years - 684 swipes - to enter my birthday? I don't have that kind of time.

I truly love the idea of this I was wondering what I was going to do because I had ran out of my blood pressure medicine and my current doctor doesn't take my new insurance. This is a one time service for your blood pressure medicine unroll you get a new health provider.

Great to get a quick prescription without having to wait for the dr office to open and lug my sick body over there!

Online doctor for simple issues...Cheap and fast. Able to send prescriptions yo your local pharmacy.
