Amex IN

3rd class app designed, I m surprised, is this a amex card mobile app? desktop site design is also 3rd class design , I don't know whether security features are there or not. Bit worry to use this card after watching their condition.

Basic app to check transactions and statement of Amex account. Lacking fingerprint login on Android. The same is implemented on Apple.

Just a piece of ####. Like a trap with a hefty fee with less than 10% card acceptability in market. This app have very basic and limited use while all other leading banks provide much more functionalities with Thier app. Even it's designed in 2015 and no further update, check app version and copy write. You can just see the transaction through this app, that's it. Very shameful if. Have to insert that long password when we are having finger print and pin since a long back in industry. Not useful at all. I don't think any of from amex is taking care of these comment also. Even after paying highest annual fee they doesn't facilitate airport lounge and the interesting cheat is if you use Amex card you may need to pay 999 INR while all other credit card it's either free or 499 per pack. Conclusion: wastage of Money, time and mind.

It has all features as one gets on website of desktop and is almost similar to it. I noticed some comments on absence of finger print login. I may like to suggest the use of Blackberry device, which makes your mobility from theft a little safer than the usual androids, windows, Google, Nokia or apple. While most of the top brands are subscribing to Blackberry safety, blackberry's own OS is the safest amongst all operating system. The last 2 YS has seen emergence of DTek for Android, making BlackBerry inside like Intel inside and thus safer than other system. The latest KEYone of BlackBerry running BlackBerry OS on Android 7 with DTek70 security has finger print login making it thus far the safest android. Use that and Amex may look at providing more options. Else, it is not safe to go big on mobiles. Amex protects you with a sensible environment. Frankly, even if Amex decides to give all the features on an app which it's members seem to be asking here, I won't subscribe to the app. In fact I would call Amex reckless for doing that. But knowing Amex as they are, I feel safer with the little they have here. I neither have so much money, nor such a less time to pull out change from wallet, nor so much to shop all day. So American Express World Wide, I am sure you will like to write to all about the global safety environment to all and appraise lesser aware. Yes, I do have one complaint. Why hasn't the company made an app for BlackBerry OS10. I will be far more comfortable to use the app on OS10.

The prompt for password every time just irritates the users (considering the passwords need to complex & stronger) as it is difficult to type them on the smaller screen. Please provide fingerprint based login or PIN based login.

Hi Team, I would like the app more if you can simply provide an option to set a 4 digit PIN to login to app rather than the long password which we have to set. Other banking apps are also providing option to set the PIN and use it.

Amex needs to work upon app to make more attractive and specially the point that you earn against each transaction. Overall the application is quite good.

This is to the App developer - I believe we have finger print authenticated login in iOS for iPhone... Why can't we have it for Android?

What type of APP this is? It is like monthly statement only.

After the hefty fee you pay for these "elite" cards that are more unacceptable than acceptable, you'd like a more sufficient app. The current app is very minimalistic and I need to login via web to do most stuff I need. Really a shame compared to the standards expected from. American Express

For a company like Amex, the lack of a pin or fingerprint login is shameful. Typing such a long password is annoying. The app is well designed but basic - Even your app screenshots are all different? Who is managing this for you? [update] many months layer and still no proper update, I hate typing a password.. Can't you guys do a survey? Check what your customers want? India market not important enough?

Not a full blown app. Just we can check account details.cant do Any transaction or card payment or redeeming rewards. As a international company thee mobile app should be covering all the possible aspects. Very limited option

Amex app for android need a password whereas for iPhone you can login via fingerprint..now that is a hypocrisy The app just allows you to check statement and unbilled..reward point details you can't check

@Amex Plz increase acceptability of ur card at various machines where visa cards are acceptable. Without that ur cards is a piece of trash. Can only b used to do online transactions only.

Tge app is very helpful to keep tabs on your card usage and payments, the latest update is also an excellent add kudos!

This app shows only points you earned but doesn't have any feature where to redeem the points we earned.

I wonder when the fingerprint access will come to this app.

Useless app. Can't even see latest statement. They only show minimum balance due. Can't see total payment due as per last statement, can't make payment. Only view transactions. Companies are running multi billion ecommerce on mobile apps and amex is still stuck on viewing transactions only. App sucks, Card acceptance sucks and card offers suck (no offer on movies).

Very basic app from Amex. Other companies like Citi have plethora of features and options in the app, allowing real usage of the app, like adding standing instructions. Amex app is a simple view app, where you can see outstanding balance and transaction history. Wasted opportunity from Amex to augment omni channel presence and further the customer experience and engagement.

Amex has very low acceptability and benefits indicated by salesman are hard to achieve. Customer care is also aware of this buy fact was not indicated during sales. Avoid Amex it is not worth your time.

It's worst app. :( Not accepting my username and password. Would give -1 star if allowed.
