Selling Services on Amazon for Android
The download app didn't work until I used the internet to log in. I received payment and the device took pictures. It was cool when I learned how to use it. Still learning. I'm a geek type. Refused to quit. Jenny's Movers
Needs LOTS AND LOTS of work. Cost me a job because the messages between a potential client and I disappeared and the client got confused and frustrated.
This app is worthless. I cannot understand how a company of Amazon's caliber can't make an app that works good for this type of service.
App stop working a few months ago. I have been a provider for over two years. 100% rating with about 150 reviews. I no longer get push notifications which is important to claim jobs. I have uninstalled and installed that app a few times and this did nothing. I even rest the cache and gave that app a higher priority.
Notifications and messages do not work on my s5. Makes it very hard to get any jobs.
I get a bunch of notifications and no jobs. Why ask if i except if your not going to give me one?
I have so many issues with the way this company runs their service I don't even know where to begin. Let me start off by saying it's a total great idea, however; very unfair. They claim to "handpick" the best people for the job which is total b.s. You get selected based off a symetrics of who's been on the platform the longest with the most jobs on there profile. Basically if you're new you are SCREWED. The only way you will ever get work it's if you're lucky no one has wanted the job and you are left picking up crumbs until your numbers grow. You may get lucky to get a decent job that has great pay but that may take you 17 years. I've been with there platform for 2 months and only have gotten two jobs. The problem with this is that it's just unfair. Aren't you qualified to be one of the best if you ARE already on there platform? Why isn't this a who picks up the job first? This is totally very dumb to fight for jobs on a bidding war. It's very pointless. This is why I recommend using thr platform taskrabbit because at least it's fair where they allow you to pick up a job based on who responds to it first. Lastly, another issue with their platform is that clients are allowed to request a job without posting the specific information needed such as exactly what specific needs for a handyman job do you need done or what type of cleaning? You have no way of knowing unless you try to pick it up and if you do get selected and find out it's something you can't do then they penalize you for it. Again UNFAIR and this system is run very, very poorly. Give taskrabbit a shot and you won't be chasing Amazon for jobs. Until there system changes this is a very pointless company to work for.

Amazon needs to get the definition of deep cleaning together a lot of clients do not mention all of the details of a housecleaning such as are there any pets is there any build up stains that need to be removed would they like their beds made up would you like to add on carpet cleaning things that that we need to upsell ourselves at the moment but would be nice if Amazon gave the client these options before or ask these questions before we contact them

Still haven't got a job to do i pick alot in no one is accepting my job to clean there homes. only one time and then they cancel .then i get someone who wants a clean for 5 or 6 bedroom for 126.00? For 9 or 10 hrs?? Are you kidding me
I have had s number of issues with this app!! Each time I have contacted customer service through their contact form. I receive an email stating they have received the service request and it ends there. There are many issues like those stated by others below. Not able to professionaly contact buyers. On and on. A lot of the requests I receive are it of my service area. I have blocked those zip codes. Still receiving requests from these areas.

That is a great potential to be a great app... Needs a lot of work.... I hope they fix all the issues.

I downloaded this app two weeks ago. As soon as i log in there is a "invalid" message at the home page stating "i do not have permission to view this page". It's been 13 days and amazon customer service or tech department doesn't know what it means and they haven't been able to fix it yet. They confuse this app for the "Seller central" app which makes it hard to get them to fix this app.
Cant login anymore. It says error everytime
It seems that Amazon also realizes that this is total junk and has abandoned us with it. No updates or fixes in months. It seems that notifications are no longer working. Have to constantly check my email to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Works on my phone...installs but won't open on my tablet. Maxon should be better!

I wish the callback feature would actually call me back when a service rep. Is ready to talk to me... not call me back right away to simply put me on hold. I have work to do.
After the app crashed on 6/8/16 it now doesn't send me notifications for job claims. How can we win them then?

We've so many problems with Amazon seller account. If you are contractor stay away from selling your services here because you won't be making money here. Amazon needs to learn the difference between selling goods and services from third vendor.
