Amazon Offers for Android
app works as advertised. If you don't like the app why did you buy a phone with it on it?
App sucks
It sucks
Very intrusive
Sukx
More invasive then before. It now takes up your whole lockscreen even if you have notifications. Makes it difficult to read sometimes. Guess their time as a monopoly is running out and bezos needs some more money
Need ability to adjust refresh rate. Annoying to see something of interest and have it disappear with screen timeout.
Amazon essentially paid me $80 to install this app on my Alcatel Idol 5s. Seems worth it to me. The ads are so random and uninteresting that I don't have to worry about buying anything it's trying to sell me.
Gave this app a low review? That's on you! For knocking off $30+ on the price of my phone, these ads are pretty unobtrusive.
This is how phones are $50 cheaper. It works, I guess.
Its a good app it knocks 50$ of my phone.
It sucks and should have an option to uninstall. Get rid of it!
Very disturbing
Don't even bother
Ghatia
Boooooo
Rubbish
Awesome App
Because of this app I got $60 off my Moto G5 Plus. So in short, I love it. The ads don't really sync up to my interests yet. Although I made a search once and the ad did relate to that search, but I swiped past the ad to quickly that I didn't take advantage of it. My only complaint. You have access to my account. It's not hard to figure out what I would buy based on that.
It's funny how the reviews on here are all terrible. The ads really aren't a bother in the slightest, in fact I've seen some pretty cool stuff through this app. I don't mind it all at. It's only annoying if you don't update it lol
I don't connect this to my Amazon account because I don't want everyone knowing what I order from Amazon. The ads are useless otherwise. I don't mind the ads, but at least make them a bit more private if you want them to be useful.
To disable enable developer options by pressing the build number in "about phone" ~ 5 times. Go into the "developer options" menu and enable USB debugging. Install adb on your computer (Android device bridge) and open command prompt. Type "adb shell pm clear -k --user 0 com.amazon.phoenix" followed by "adb shell reboot" this will clear the app's add cache and disable the ads when you run the last command. Make sure you disable auto updates.
I like it. It does bother me any. I actually like some of the stuff or shows. So extra plus.
I hate it It slowed down my phone where I can't even play a simple game because of all the offers
Annoying and ads aren't even relevant to my purchases.
I hate ads but whatever..
It was worth the money I saved to have the unobtrusive ads on the lock screen
Irritating.
Anyone who has this app should have known what they were buying. They got $40-50 discount off phone as was clearly stated on Amazon. The ads are only on the lock screen. You can filter potentially inappropriate ads, the ads don't use any data and update only on WiFi and you can choose to have ads based on your shopping and browsing preferences. "Man up" folks. ☺️
Paying the $50 to remove the lock screen ads only does that. It doesn't allow you to remove the preloaded apps or remove this app. If you sent this app the ability to alter Android systems the ads still show up. This app has to be running to cancel out the ads. The cost should be less than $50 if all it will do is remove the ads. It's still not like the regular Moto G4.
the joy of not being sold anything... for those looking to get rid of the ads, follow these directions (note: you will pay $50 but then get it back with an amazon refund): 1. sign into amazon in your phone settings and add your phone to your amazon account via web 2. pay $50 to amazon to get rid of the ads and wait two days for next step. ads should be gone 3. disable auto update for amazon offers app in play store, remove all permissions for amazon offers app in phone settings, basically make sure to strip this app of anything and everything it can do. 4. call amazon, get a refund for the $50. explain that you cant remove all the amazon bloat that came with the phone, it's eating precious space on your phone and leeching data from your very limited data plan. reasons for refund given, they give refund and explain ads come back in 24 hrs. do step 5 IMMEDIATELY after you hang up the phone. 5. remove the phone from your amazon account via web and sign out of amazon from phone settings. ALL traces must be gone. 6. done :] refund should come back to you, but ads should not. it's been a month now since i got my refund, and still no ads. do not update app in play store, im not sure if this will break work around.
So freaking annoying! Discount was nice though...
Error message is annoying and persistent. Hasn't worked since last update.
A nice trade off for getting a legit phone for only 60 bucks. Though if you are crafty you can temporarily disable the ads.
It is what it is. STOP COMPLAINING YOU BOUGHT A PHONE WITH IT
It would be more useful to me if the offers related to items I'd purchased or viewed in the past.
It is what it is. Discount on phone was nice.
Amazon, thanks for the great deal. Please continue to offer these types of great phones in the future. I really appreciate how you've made the advertisements fairly unobtrusive, but still interesting and available. For those who don't like the ads, just sell your phone and spend 5 times more for the same thing, or double for the ad-free version... It ain't rocket surgery.

Amazon's bloatware "suite" marks its territory on your phone...I mean 'their' phone (I get Prime Photos crash notifications when the app is both unused and disabled). I'm concerned more about the bundle's resource usage, performance, and battery life than the ads themselves.
