AWS Console for Android
Unable to login. Stuck in an infinite captcha loop
So much functionality I wield in my hand with this app. Almost as much as the web GUI. a must have for any AWS admin.
Doesn't work for govcloud at all
Don't login with Google MFA, don't accept the entire code of 6 numbers, just 5.
Very limited services are visible in this app, that to services are not manageable from here. If you are outside and cannot open laptop, don't use this app, go for the browser based console from your mobile device. This kind of ridiculous release is not at all expected from AWS. Moreover, it is takes too much time to load even in very high speed network.
This app lets you view a lot of AWS configurations, but the management capabilities are terrible. One great example is Route 53, you can view all your configurations, but there's no ability to modify any entries.
not happy to have to login each time i open the app. no fingerprint login, not even lastpass which cannot autofill the login info...also app doesnt keep up with the features...too bad. would have been a geeat tool to manage your aws on the go but its not.
I like the concept aws cockpit in your smartphone. Limitations on services that I used looks reasonable. Could you please add 'AWS Support' service to mobile application for convenient way to reply support tickets? Thank you
I was not able to terminate RDS instances.
Very Good but please stop making us logging each and every time.. You can develop the app more and more
Frustrated with sign in or sign out issues
Can't even login
Roll it back! Latest update just crashes. Terrible from a company like AWS
It's better than nothing, but it leaves me wanting more, like the other reviews say. One example (there are so many, just read the other reviews) - I can't stop rds instances. This functionality was introduced this year, but the app hasn't been updated since March. AWS functionality is advancing so rapidly that an eight month old release doesn't even come close to cutting it. Needs work.
Unable to switch role.. Uninstall it right away.. We need the mobile apps to do urgent things, which should be done using higher security precaution via switching into admin role. When we unable to switch role, this render the importance of the apps as useless..
The only reason I want this app is so that I can investigate the root cause of CloudWatch alarms on the go, wherever I am. However, there's no CloudWatch support! No dashboards and no logs! Only the alarms themselves, which is useless since I already have that info in the SMS.
It was useful for 2 moments but then it got stuck totally with repeating captcha request. Rendering it totally useless.. And when it did work it only provided a small subset of the aws services.
What is this ? An app designed for android 2.3? Such a big corporation with millions of users, but this sucks
I'm not too happy with the fact that you need to login when trying to use the app. Since the app is read-only I don't see the value in requiring the user to login over and over again.
This is a brilliant app for the functionality it provides however it is a tad limited given the number of services already existing but not included when the app was launched and when you add in all the new services released the app becomes quite dated. Adding just the ability to run Lambda functions would allow for users to extend this app with their own functionality.
Badly needs some attention, app is really old. Allow assume IAM role from the app for better security.
Lacking in app security. Ideally each time you open/foreground the app it would require you to first authenticate with an app PIN you set or fingerprint like apps like 1password do as your session stays open in the background.
This app sucks, it's just the website packaged as an app, which would be fine if it worked but it doesn't. I have to log in each time I launch the app, exactly like no other app these days, so chrome is better. The site requires mouse hover to access options so doesn't work on a phone, and so far it's almost impossible to find the only thing I want the bloody app for in the first place, my pending monthly balance. Amazon normally you guys rock, what happened?
ec2:describeinstances on any resource (*) does not allow users to see EC2 instances. Also doesn't give a clue what permissions it is expecting. Could you investigate? thanks.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Could do with more frequent updates. Would love to see ECS, ALB's etc
This app is limited in the services it shows. It doesn't show any ecs services nor alb. I can see some use for cloud watch alarms, but my need is mainly on ecs.
Id setup continually asks me to enter the captcha, never got past that so totally useless.
No option to provision new items in the cloud. One can manage existing inventory only. Pitty.
Crappy and pointless app. Can only show incomplete information of the small subset of AWS features/services; and it kept asking you to enter your credentials. Even the dashboard is not really a dashboard, instead just a fixed collection of counters in a AWS site; if you use multiple sites you'll have to keep switching sites.
Outdated, half-assed, barely working at all. Can't remember logins or IDs or anything. Such a big corporation, such an embarrassingly incomplete and shabby product.
It is asking for new CAPTCHA even after providing correct one ... Keeps repeating same ... Not able to login through app ... Kindly help
Log in with password manager. Open Authenticator to get MFA. Switch back to to app... Back at login screen. Also, outdated and lacking features.
Doesn't work at all on android 6. Hangs when you click on Identities, IAM User, etc
It doesn't let you look at any of your data, it just lets you scale existing tables. What's the use?
It hasn't been updated in 9 months. What has changed on AWS in 9 months though right?
Fails to show running instances. So, basically useless
Really outdated and missing tons of features, doesn't even have cloudfront
I needed to be able to create simple objects, like buckets or IAM groups, but it doesn't seem to have that functionality yet.
Extremely limited with an anachronistic interface and scores of missing features.
