Initially the app (& trial) works exactly as it's suppose to... which made me very happy, as I have been tirelessly looking for this functionality (A+ there). BUT sadly, I found out later that it eventually ceases to push new notifications to the the Chromecast. Uninstalling/Reinstalling allows it to work again, for the one push till it breaks again :(
