READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING
This application delegates all the UI rendering on a software component capable of performing powerful web browser tasks.
Unfortunately, on older devices, this View component is expensive to create in terms of resources and performance.
That being said, due the tremendous amount of offline data contained in the encyclopedia, this app is expected to run on devices with high hardware specs (+2gb Ram) for a better UX experience.
However, I'm constantly working to improve the navigation performance.

FIRST USE AND UPDATES CONSIDERATIONS
Due the size limit of the apps imposed by the app stores, large part of the media resources will be downloaded separately.
Every time the app is opened, it will check if all the required files are present in the device; if not, the missing ones will be downloaded.
Naturally, the first time the app is opened after installation, it will have to download all the resources.
Please be patient here. The download process is a bit slow because of the large number of files to retrieve.
Files are downloaded sequentially and not in parallel. Each file is downloaded after the previous one has been successfully saved to the device. This is to avoid potentially corrupted files in case of connection lost.
The app will recur the download process every time it detects an update or some resources are deleted from the device.
Estimated download time for each file: 1.1 seconds (considering an average connection speed).

I'll also try to improve this process.
