AltiGen MaxMobile Communicator

App has no menu button for accessing settings. This version is missing it and you have to uninstall then reinstall to change settings. Annoying to troubleshoot because of this. Lowered rating to 1 star because latest update still has no menu in android. In order to troubleshoot login settings I have to uninstall and reinstall each time.

Terrible. Crashes my phone constantly. Don't bother.

Cannot log out. Also, when closing a regular phone call on my car's Bluetooth, my phone reverts to a Max Mobile screen for no apparent reason.

Can't log out or access settings on Samsung S6

Doesn't allow logout, no menus

Newer androids can't logout or access settings after initial setup. If I log in it locks my desk top phone till I go into application manager on the phone. Force stop maxmobile. Clear data then login to a different extension. Needs a fix ASAP

This stupid app keeps crashing, this has to be one of the worst apps I have ever had the pleasure of using and seeing in my life. But I guess I shouldn't have expected much from a enterprise app...

Since the Android menu button is now the apps button you can't log out or access settings. To log out and reactive your desk phone you'll need to access the altigen server. No Bueno.

Good app. With all the new phones out there if you are having an issue call your dealer and he will be happy to help you out. This is what tech support is for, this is an easy to use app and it works great for remote users.

This app will randomly come up during a normal phone call. When listening to a voicemail the menu will disappear after you call after you press play. Trying to paste a phone number into the dial window is not easy. This app does not maintain consistent control of the phone call. Trying to forward or conference a phone call is virtually impossible! I haven't received an update in quite some time, step it up Altigen if you want your clients to keep paying for your outrageous "software assurance" fees!

This is a great app and extremely useful. Not at all keen on how it takes over my phone even when I am not on the network. Needs a simple on/off selection or the ability not to start on boot all the time without having to log out.

The app when it works, work fairly well. However, when it doesn't work it not only will not conect with my phone in the office with a message saying no data link available but it will mess up my regular phone calls. I had to uninstall it in order for my calls to work. The concept is nice but doesn't work. Update the program and I will change my review.

Great idea and used to work well. However, ever since I upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich and now Jelly Bean, the app does not behave well at all. I'm having the following problems: 1) If I try to access VM from the phone, it locks up the app and I have to force close 2) When logged out of Altigen, the app still tries to interact with the phone app. Example, at the conclusion of a call dialed from the phone app, the Altigen app comes up and tells me there is a problem communicating with the Altigen server. Duh, I'm not logged in. Altigen has not updated this app in almost a year and it shows. To my company that bought this "low cost solution", you get what you pay for.

This app is very clumsy and over-reaching.I haven't found it to be particularly stable, kind of like Altigen systems altogether.
