Soccorso CGHSS Mala was founded in 1949, managed by the CMC Udaya Educational Society, and its Higher Secondary wing was opened its door to the world on the 26th July 2000, The inception of Soccorso is the farsighted vision of Beloved Saint Chavara Kuriakose Elias, the visionary pioneer in the 'Apostolate of Education' in Kerala, who firmly believed that if any society is to be uplifted, it is essential that the womenfolk and the girl child ought to be educated
