Sunrise Sunset

Has a really nice widget; shews the moon phase on your screen and opens up to the full app, with sunrise and set, moon phases and the planets' rise and setting times. It's recently lost sunrise times on my new Samsung galaxy 7 but I expect that's a passing phase, and if the problem goes and stays away I'd give it a 5.

Initially, it seemed incredible. Until you start manually entering locations - particularly with lat/lon and timezone. Immediately falls flat on its face. What a bummer.

Thoughtfully planned and well executed. Widgets show local time for sunrise and sunset, plus moon phase (no ads unless running full app). Astronomical values (declination and RA) shown for those who care, and out of the way for those who don't. Ads only show up when switching displays. Those who criticise the advertisements need to use the "in app purchase". $2 will turn off those ads. If you are too stingy to pay a guy for his effort, use airplane mode on your phone to stop the ads.

Great app! Would it be possible to add a feature to set alarm based on sunrise? Want to try wake up before Brahmamuhrata, but or rate for sunrise/set changes drastically in short period of time. Thanks!

Very informative app. The 3D view is very helpful in understanding how Earth's rotation around the sun affects the sun's position in the sky. One thing that I would like to see in a future release is the elevation of the sun at a certain time.

Very well laid out. I really like the clock depiction of when with sunrise going from dark and the gradual build up of light to Sunrise. I also like the colored dots on the clock face showing the Astronomical, Nautical, Civil, Official times. Seeing clearly when Civil Sunrise/Sunset is is helpful, as typically this is when usable light comes into the sky at sunrise or leaves the sky at sunset.

Every time I open the App, the info is N/A. And even though the location is successfully detected showing my exact location and states it is updated, the info is still N/A. After 10-15 attempts, it might work, but as soon as I close and open it again - it's N/A all over. Too bad, it looked good.

Very nice graphics that are easy to navigate. I opted to pay the $2 for ad-free. If you are into this kind of info the 3D graphic is especially nice with sun angle and planet information.

Excellent app for sunrise and sunset but some improvement so these features available so No1 app for sunrise and sunset. I would say that we search any cities so explain the city time not shown mobile set time and add more city and add more system I hope that these features add next version

Very good app. Sunrise and sunset timings are very accurate and you can​ see these timings for the any day of the year. 3D view is not actually full 3D but still useful and interesting.

Any app that suggests without reason that your phone is infected is a form of phishing and fraud because it is attempting to make you download something that is not needed. These sorts of apps need banning, Play store you have a duty to filter fraudulent apps shame on you!

Love the simple tables, features, and graphics. I use the app regularly for civil sunset, which I find more functionally meaningful. Highly recommend the download.

Full page ads with noise is rediculous. Sometimes the times do not display; need to restart my device to get them to show.

Just perfect I googled the sunrise and the sunset and tried to fool it and I failed.it was100% correct I love this you should get it.

Am able to know when I can see the stars. When the sun has set. When it will be hard to see to walk after dark..

This app is my favourite because of its accuracy about the Sun's appearant trajectory along with direction of light as I have been to distant places I can realize this.

Does everything that I hoped for and more. The only thing I would love to see is metre marks along the ground on the 3D view, if the upright post is perhaps 1m high. This would help me plan how far from my fence I need to plant garden vegetables. Thanks so much!

Ads cover the part of information. Too loud ads during transition from one screen to another. Would have given 5 star had the ads been modest and moderate. Lost 5-star status due to advertisements in spite of excellent technicalities. Uninstalled within a few minutes.

The full-screen ads with sound make me extremely reluctant to actually use this app in front of clients when I'm meeting with them to sketch out photography on their wedding day. Oh, and the sunset times often fail to update when I change the date. Developer never responded to my concerns about the ads. Luckily, it's easy enough to find an alternative app.

While the app itself is good, the widget does not update, I live in AK where the sun rise and set times are important. Would really appreciate the abbility to see a quick glance the info displayed in the widget was accurate.

I particularly love the 3d view for the sun. Shame to see the moon phase widget has disappeared... It was such a lovely addition to my home screen!

Very nice app, bought up by Microsoft and removed to their email program to try to force customers to buy it. Goodbye Microsoft and screw you.

This is the best app because you can actually just use the latitude and longitude and not just cities. This is needed for me on a special unique calendar. Too bad it not for Apple products though.

Note to the developer: it is really difficult to evaluate a product when it sticks up full-page ads. I have no idea whether I want to spend my money when it does that sort of thing. Worse - they also play music. You have lost me as a potential customer. Uninstalled and I don't recommend that anyone else installs this either

Great app. Informative and easy to understand. Ads at the bottom are fine. Full page ads with sound that you can't skip are inexcusable.

if the 3d view had active compass rotate the direction you're pointing it wouod be perfect. Kinda useless otherwise.

Can't test the application without an ad popping after every button press. Makes sense to do this once in a while but I won't even pay for premium unless I can get through the application without having to dismiss more than three ads.

Great app, very useful. I've used it to time my sunrise and sunset photos. The shadows displayed also help greatly in setting up camera gear, tripods etc.

This app is not finding my location correctly. It used to but of late it has gone wrong.

Great app, but for the life of me I can't find the widget? There's no option inside the app or on my home screen!

Can't pick my town unless I'm in it, since program doesn't seem to be able find a list of cities

It shows sunrise & sunset automatically on a home screen.. No need to have to click it or update it over n over.

It's good when it calculates times. But sometimes I've found it doesn't succeed in calculating any times. It just says "N/A" for sunrise and sunset times.

Nice app when it works. It's hit-and-miss to get the schedule sunrise and sunsets. Other than that you get "N/A".

The app hasn't worked in the last two days, doesn't matter if I force shut down or restart the phone.

Hi Alok, the moon phase widget is off by 1 day. Full moon on the widget does not sync with full moon in the sky. Hope you will fix it to sync accordingly. Tq!

A really interesting app. Cool to see the times for different planets when the sun rises and the sun sets. Also a cool 3d mode to see how the sun is going around the planet.
