When it comes to trading it is bad. I was with Tradeking before the change to Ally and these last few days have been the worse since I started online trading 3 yrs. ago. The app keep freezing when I surf through it to get info. I have to close the app and then log in again. Thank God the finger print recognition works well for me. Never had that problem with Tradeking. Even the program appearence looks cheap and unprofessional. Definitely not the same look anymore.Please improve your trading plateform Ally, PLEASE or else I am going to have to move my acct. to another brokerage.

Useless app, Tradeking had problems once in a while but this app has constant problems. On the go this app is not reliable at all. First review I've done for an app and it had to be done. Online has its problems too and if I can't have control of my money when I want to then I will definitely find a broker that will be reliable.

The small updates here and there have helped it, but their are many UI issues that are extremely cumbersome on mobile devices. You can definitely tell this app is NOT optimized for Android by any means,.

This app is terrible. When it was Trade King their app worked great. Congrats on screwing up a service I used to like. The convenience is what kept me here but now I'll probably take my money elsewhere.

I love Ally Bank. This app is great for what I use it for, which is checking balances and initiating transfers. Fingerprint ID also works for me. When I did have a minor issue with the app, Ally contacted me directly to resolve it.

I am trading everyday and came over with TradeKing. I am having the same experience as I did with TradeKing only better. The customer service is 24hrs. I can text with someone within seconds or call them the old fashioned way. Love It.

Never give a bad review. Unfortunately forced over from tradeking for investing. And since then, nothing but glitches, errors and frustrations. When a couple seconds could mean thousands of dollars, and it says the service is down, this is unacceptable. Considering moving my money out completly.

During live trading hours I am unable to access my account. Unacceptable. Once I am able to regain access I will be closing this account and going elsewhere.

Unable to move to SD card on android. Also, keep getting "Error: our system is unavailable, please try again" when trying to look at my positions. I'm going to switch to another broker because of this.

It won't even load my holdings 75% of the time. It's a slower and less-reliable port of the TradeKing app, which was maybe a 3 star app. There are plenty of brokerages that have $5 trade commissions and working apps.

This app is broken. Ever since they took over tradeking i cant trade and its constantly down. Even the website is not working. Ill be moving to etrade

It took me a minute to find the "make a deposit" button, really? Why hide it in a sandwich. Deposits implies a view for previous deposits, I need to make a new one.

So...how you can invest with one app not work!! All the time i open the app flash and i need to restart the phone! So bad! I trasfer my account today to etrade, i miss tradeking....

Is getting worse and worse. A lot of issues with the investment service that is not available right now. TradeKing app was better.

It works a lot better than it used to. Still doesn't look particularly "Material" but it matches Ally's website, which has also gotten better over the years.

Poorly executed interface, not user-friendly, maddeningly slow.

When trying to complete a transaction the loading function hangs and doesn't stop until I restart or power off the phone. Very annoying.

Would be useful if it worked. You can view the snapshot, but if you try to click on your account detail, it won't open up.

Worst app for stock market, prices are not up to date.

Please bring back standalone TradeKing/ally invest app. And option to save password like TradeKing for immediate sign in.

Crashes almost everyday. I have to uninstall and reinstall all the time.

I really like Ally as a bank, but my goodness does this app need work! There have been so many instances where I've been unable to log in because it's just not been available? Plus it won't even let me log in on my new phone for no discernable reason. Confirmed username and password, removed from phone, installed it again, restarted phone, and still nothing so now I have to call in to get help. This happened on my old phone as well, but when I called in they couldn't actually help them either, just had to conduct business on my computer for a while until the app resolved itself. Like I said, I like the bank, but seriously, please spend more time and effort into fixing these issues - I need to deposit checks!

I love Ally bank. But ally bank app is the WORST. I've found a critical bug and reported back to ally long time ago but it has never been resolved completely. The issue is that the last page you viewed before forced logout is visible to anyone when ally bank app is opened again. Anyone has my phone can see my account detail, NO LOGIN REQUIRED. === Surprised by a guy in technical team. He said "This is normal behavior. Inactivity timeout doesn't log you out. You still have to do that manually". Seriously, is this an app from an online only bank?

I can never use the app it won't load up at all . the only thing it does is tell me to to log out and it won't even do that. Junk junk junk . Would much rather have tradeking back it worked flawlessly.

I like the app a lot and it's nicely designed, but there are a couple of issues that I notice occur often. First, for some reason the fingerprint authentication doesn't work anymore for logging into the app or trying to set fingerprint authentication to be functional via the Settings menu on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Second, when navigating through the app via the navigation drawer and then back to prior screens, the incorrect navigation drawer item is highlighted. One thing I hope for is that Ally will integrate the current details of their cash back credit instead of logging​ into a separate service within the app, as it is now. Also, instead of having a second app for card control, build that functionality into this app.

This app has been fixed and it works fine. I'm suprised because Tradeking never would have addressed the many issues it had. Thank you Ally Bank.

Slow load times. Will consistently not load my account details. Frustrating experience.

This app is extremely glitchy. Had to reinstall 3 times this week.

I can't use fingerprint or passcode login anymore. It also thinks it's a new device every time.

The new updates are much better. I'd love to see a few more charting options.

I love this app, easy to use, easy to make my deposits.Perfect.

Developers, here's a tip: when submitting a deposit, and a popup asked to confirm certain details, include the user input details so we can actually verify that what was stated is correct.

The app is adequate. What Ally needs to do is pay more than 1.5% interest. Doesn't even keep up with the cost of living.

I can't login anymore using the ap

I was forced from tradeking to go with Ally even though I picked tradeking over y'all to begin with. Then was thinking OK this could probably work it's a nice simple layout and everything. But I try to log on today and it freezes up it won't allow me to log on. Please fix this to restore my faith in you all and to get you up to five stars. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Company is terrible for trading. They bought trade king so i was moved over and immediate terrible experience. Refuses to release my money leaving it on hold for over a week before even beginning the process of giving it back. I am closing all accounts with Ally and not looking back, way to many options out there to accept this.
