Wine Tracker for Android
Leaves a lot to be desired
You need a barcode scanner, to populate the wine cellar. Without it it's worthless.
No Barcode scanner
Works great for tracking my collection. I love the new version.
Sucks
I can't give more than 3 stars because it won't translate barcode info directly into the necessary fields. When you can do that, I will gladly change my rating to five stars. Thanks.
I downloaded the free version to use and see if I want to buy it. I added a wine for my personal inventory and was *forced* to select a region and varietal. The region existed (USA/California/ Sonoma Valley) however, the varietal did not (Sauvignon Blanc)! Either include all varietals or remove the requirement to select it. Bad, bad, bad. Otherwise, it seems to serve my needs. Too bad I'll be using and buying a different app.
I tried all the other apps that were out there and this is the only one worth keeping.
I do not recommend. Devs. Make the app full. Remove the ads. And offer pro after 50 entries
Works great on my galaxy S3. Tracks my whole collection plus what I drink at restaurants.
Still some varietals and regions missing
I want to try the app and see it work before buying something. This demo wouldn't let me scan or even search for the bottle in my hand. Kept saying something about the free version doesn't allow this buy the paid one does . The search continues...
I tried all the others but they sucked. With this one, I store info about the wines I try at restaurants then I can refer to it when I'm shopping for something at home.
Once I got my spreadsheet downloaded I could search my wines any time I wanted.
I like this one. Good job.
I love wine and love this app
I downloaded this while at a Thai restaurant. When i got home, i added my collection to it. Now it helps me select wines that are ready to drink and so i don't forget a bottle.
I searched for a long time for a wine journal that had all the features I wanted. This one nearly has them. The paid app will fill those holes, so this worked as an extended demo. The region/varietals DB is ok, but importantly is editable so you can add what is missing.
So you have to pay if you want the bug-free version? Click, uninstall.
Beats the other programs I tried. Would like to see upc Baroda scanning but this didn't work on the other apps I tried.
A friend had me download this, this has been good for tracking my cellar collection.
Terrible. You'd think Zinfandel and Petite sarah didn't exist or couldn't come from napa. Region selection is arduous.
This is my first wine program I tried out, and was impressed with the features. I like how it can notify me when wines are ready to drink.
Have you heard of Sonoma County? Russian River Valley? Dry Creek Valley? These are just a few of the areas you are missing, along with varietals. Also, have you ever heard of table red or white wines? In other words, blends that don't have a specific varietal association? Since 98% of my wines are from areas not in your app, this app is worthless to me.
Hello, ever heard of a place called Virginia? Need to include it in your regions for the US.
Good if you have a wine collection that you want handy.

I am less pleased with the latest UI. I dislike that it jumps to another bottle after I edited a bottle. Instead, it should take me back to list.
