The Walmart store founder was an RVer and the general policy remains that RVers can spend one night free in a store parking lot. You get some rest, maybe shop a bit and move on early in the morning.
How will this app help you? RVer or not, this app shows all WalMart locations in US and Canada. Use it to find either shopping or RVing.

This app plots every Wal-mart store in the USA and Canada on the map view. It uses location services to find your location and as you move.
Local influence and abuse have led to about 1/7 stores to no longer allow overnights, so always ask a manager ahead of time. Please submit your reports to us so we can keep this app accurate. I get dozens of reports about stores every single day. It’s always changing...
What's in it: Walmart's of all kinds. Have others parked there or have others been denied or even towed? Tips are provided from other RVers as to where to park in the lot.
It integrates nicely with GPS and Google Maps to display hundreds of stores on the map at a time.
Don’t take even one more trip without Walmart Overnight Parking. It can always change by the time you get there but at least you can be aware of what others have experienced lately.
Parking is never guaranteed so we say "possible parking". Walmart has the right to refuse you for any reason. It is not a right to park overnight on private property.

App needs to be updated to reflect recent changes made by Wal-Mart. Trucks are officially no longer allowed to park overnight and many Wal-Mart stores have followed suit with RV's. Don't trust the app. Call and confirm before arriving and then walk in to confirm with a manager. One mistake and you'll be out $500+ when they tow you with no notice. Been happening all over the country since Dec 2015.

We use this app a lot, and do like it. But, when we send in an update for the Walmart we have stayed at, they never get posted. It is always old ones. If you want us to stay and report, please use our reports so others can get the latest news. Wasting our time if you don't use the reports we send in.

NOTHING works as well as this app. We've tried most of them, some of which work quite well, but this is the best. Prodigious amount of information presented in a clean, well designed interface that renders it easily accessible. Brava! Bravo!

this app is invaluable and while there is always the crabby crowd that seem to believe that apps should automatically do everything they expect, when the scope isnt understood,well that takes nothing away from this app and the sometimes critical info it can provide. walmarts are always changing their parking policies a lot in part because so many have abused the privilege. calling is a simple part of the process. thanks to you guys for all your tireless work and updates that help make a lot of lives easier.

We flew from Mpls. to LA purchased a 40 ft class A, then drove it home. Walmart saved the day. We had no idea what we needed or where to park the first few days. Walmart mgr helped us and sent us on our way with what we needed with all we wanted for the trip back to MN.

I like this app cause it allows me to find walmarts near by when i need them, whatbi dont like is that the app always says possible parking when some times they dont allow overnight parking. This needs a bit more thought put into it as to finding overnight parking

Wrong directions first time I used it- 8 miles off! Do just as well on my maps app. Searching on my smart phone. Does give you added info like if a pharmacy or if its a supercenter.

You get the word "possible" for $2.99 added to the same listing as the truckstop app I like the Allstays truckstop app just fine, but just about all the SAME Walmart locations that have "ask on parking" by them have "possible" by them in the separate "Walmart Overnight Parking" app. I'm not gonna apply for refund, hell it's only $2.99, but I don't see anything different from the "ask on parking" in the regular truckstop app to "possible" in this "overnight parking specific" app.

Went to a walmart that said we might be able to stay over night but we could not. It's against the city law there. I paid for this app to find over night parking but none were found. Bummer.
