AARP Roadside from Allstate

Does not work, it won't take my account number so it makes the app totally USELESS.

And doesn't sound like I would be happy with this app. This problem with the app not reading your member # and doesn't look like they care. I finally joined and now I think I will cancel if there is no way to work the app. One person said its been two years and it still won't read her member #. I also put # in too no luck. Calling customer service and cancel my order. Thanks for the reviews. Wish I had read reviews first????????

Rejects member number with leading zero. Without zero searches for membership and can't find it. Amazingly useless.

I have tried to activate this app on my phone and have used both the membership number on my AARP Card and the membership number on my Premier Roadside card, and it will accept neither. Just pd for another year today, maybe a big mistake!

Just one more person commenting on the membership number issue - the app does not accept a valid membership #, so is absolutely useless. Complaints on this issue date back over a month (since the last update). The app could be an important tool helping to get service away from home. Problem discounts the value of the AARP service - will go back to AAA if not corrected soon.

All in all I've had only one bad experience, real bad! My transmission just stopped working about two miles outside Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on a Saturday at 5.40pm. I called for a wrecker device to take the car home near my garage service! I got a return call about 45mns later that someone is coming! Waited for two hours no one showed up, called again, they told me at 8.30pm a wrecker is on the way! At 11.00pm no one showed up! Eventually at 11.45pm a Flatbed truck showed up, I was home by 1.45am. I felt horrible let down! The driver of the flatbed was quite pleasant, and apologized for what had happened! He was the third person who they had contacted 10.00pm! What could I say!

Same as all the other negative reviews, the app could not recognize my membership ID so I could not even register. Uninstalled. Not giving me confidence that I'll get much value from the AARP membership.

Crap, junk for years, they know there's a problem but won't fix. Indicates their level of professionalism Is their service any better? Scary if you need a tow late at night in the dark.

I have become a member of AARP recently and the roadside assistance app is trash if by some reason you guys are having problems with Allstate drop them and go with another Carrier, simple

On the phone with AARP and Allstate and no one seems to be able to get the damn thing working. Very disappointed senior citizen here. I would not recommend this app to anyone. I ended up putting the phone number for them in the contacts under AARP roadside and my account number in the email section.

Getting same error as others. Not finding my account. Got renewal notice in mail which made me remember I needed to download app on my new phone. Good thing I didn't have to use service yet. Well looks like I won't renew.

Spent an evening trying to register on the app....will NOT recognize my info. Says I am not in the system. Very frustrating. Call to person with thick accent. Poor call also. Grrrrrrr.

The worst what happened to all the information that was put in. Who needs a app that you have to put in your member number everytime just to log in ridiculous
