President

I got my start in the insurance industry as an agent with Texas Farm Bureau in 2003. I left in 2010 to become president of All-Star Insurance Group. I grew up in Gilmer and graduated in 1989 from Gilmer High School. After moving away for college and my first career as a TV sports producer, I returned home in 2003. I love helping people identify risks in their personal life and business, and then provide them an option to insure that risk. I enjoy coaching my four sons in soccer, track and basketball. When I'm not working, I'm with my family, and that usually means my wife and I watching our boys compete in one sport or another. Most of my customers don't know that I used to be a TV sports producer and that I have interviewed Nolan Ryan, Tiger Woods, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brett Hull, Troy Aikman and many more. I have been a volunteer coach for Upward Basketball, Upshur County Youth Soccer, Summer Track, and Little League Baseball. I am active in the Gilmer Athletic Booster Club, Upshur County Relay for Life, Spelling Bee for Literacy and many others.
