Comfort Sync

Often has issues cancelling away mode. Came with a new furnace/heat pump. Sure wish I'd looked for a setup that supported the Nest I had to uninstall - it worked a lot better and was getting regular updates. This app hasn't seen any updates in two years and it shows in the lack of capabilities compared to the competition.

After a year of not working at all (wouldn't stay connected to internet), we had a power outage and now it seems to work for some reason. Pretty limited controls but does what I need anyway.

Just installed on a Nexus 6P with latest patches. Every time I select my thermostat it closes the app. So much for simple convenience on an expensive thermostat. update-Rarely works. Logged in today to boost the heat before arriving at home and, while it reported the temp, none of the settings were accessible to pick a temp (on the Android app). I remain disappointed with the app.

This unit came with my new Lennox furnace and A/C. This unit is exactly what it says it is - a heating/cooling thermostat. Others have security cameras, alarms, light controls and other capabilities but for those who don't need or want these it works well. A Nest unit it is not. All of these remote access units run through a server operated by the manufacturer over the internet. When the server goes down so does the remote access for all of the brands. Every server crashes sooner or later. My experience with ComfortSync is that they maintain their servers well enough. It would be nice if these units and apps would just work locally through the home computer and router, independent of the manufacturer, but then this would come with hacking risks. To work properly this unit needs a strong wi-fi signal, at least 4 bars, otherwise connectivity and remote access is sketchy. My early problems stemmed from this issue and were corrected by installing an additional wi-fi hotspot nearby. Its heating/cooling programming functions are very flexible and fine for my situation. Tech support has been good when I've connected with the right person.

This app is so limited you can't even remotely turn off the unit if you are on a schedule, unable to adjust the times on the schedule in this app and unable to switch between schedule and manual and this app has not even been been updated scene September of 2015 i bet no one from this company even reads these reviews

Very poor app for a very expensive system. The system works get but the app lack the many options Honeywell has. Can't program thermostat from app or web. You have to do that from the thermostat.

Received the thermostat with a new furnace install. This app really needs a better UI that complies with Android material design. Lack of integration with home automation systems like SmartThings and no IFTTT channel really are a major disappointment.

***WARNING*** DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I just recently made the mistake of buying this thermostat. It won't let me log in then tells me that I have no connection, But I do!!! I called the company 2 times and still am waiting for the IT department to call me back. I had the company that installed my new furnace as well as the thermostat come to my home today and they have no clue why it won't work. This App sucks! I wish i would have seen the complaints about this app before buying this thermostat

The Wi-Fi disconnects frequently. None of my many Wi-Fi products have this problem. Doesn't do much good when you need or want to adjust Temps while away from resident.

Very poor. Most of the time it doesnt work. I had Honeywell before and it was perfect. I installed new furnace and AC and they installed this instead my old Honeywell. I think I will try to put the old thermostat back on.

Will not pull system out of away mode. What's the point. It also doesn't work on my iPhone. Seriously, someone should be fired for such a crappy app on such an expensive thermostat.

I can adjust the temp while I'm away which is cool but the app closes on me very often. Therefor, I cat do what the app is meant to do. You need to fix this!

Very useful and dependable app

I was so, so thrilled to get a Wi-Fi thermostat with our new furnace but should have researched the thermostat the company installed. This is awful. The app crashes everytime I open it. The second time I try to open it, it usually works, but not always (like I've been going on 48 hours where it either won't log me in or it, it sits there spinning, or it tells me some error). Finally, the times it does work, the app has such limited capacities that it's barely worth it to have. I can barely adjust anything.

App used to work great! Now it keeps crashing after start up. It would be nice to be able to create new schedules with the app,or modify the current scheduling with the app. Please fix.

App crashes with android 5.1.1 on Galaxy S6. App was already less then desirable!! Now all it can do is crash. Please update this app!!!!

Nice to get something new. Not nice when it doesn't work. What good does a WiFi system do, if you you can't get on it on your phone to use it...

App itself works great, though everytime i go back to the app when it is running in the background, it crashes.

Please update... The Lennox iComfort app has been updated, why not the Comfort Sync app?

This app worked on my Nexus 4 for a month. Now it will not load at all and crashes, even after a reinstall. Not impressed at all for a 300 dollar thermostat. Fix this junk.
