MyPlace VINScan for Android
Won't let me login
As the lead tech and service writer for a large towing and repair shop it saves me so much time with this app. My drivers send me a picture of the tag, vin plate and mileage of a vehicle they are bringing in off highways and I can have my intake written up and generate a repair or purchase order by the time the vehicle hits my shop plus send to my place for parts and makes online ordering and pricing for estimates even faster. Some flaws but the good out weights the bad big time#
Works 80% of the time. App has bugs that need worked out. App starts then shuts down, sometimes doesnt come back with anything when using vin scan or lic plate search

A darn good app when it works, but needs improvment. Scanned a 2005 Town & Country and I could send it to my place parts ordering but couldn't save it to history in app no matter what. Scanned a 06 Spectra and it scanned but said no records found. Manually entering vin worked. These are just two in the last couple days. Works for most and then it's a real pleasure using app. When it doesn't work it's a pain. UPDATE: lately I"ve had to uninstall and reinstall it several times when it stops working.
Works good but it needs something to show that a vin has been sent to home page or notification.
This app is very helpful when it works. Unfortunately it doesn't work more often than it does. It also doesn't always give correct engine info so I always make sure to double check the engine info.
its really too good . I can able to get every vin details by using this app

Easy application to correctly identify vehicles. Smooth integration into MyPlaceForParts for vehicle lookup.

Click "read more". Saw this in a magazine. Said free app. That's where free stops. Exclusively for customers, I would assume commercial customers of Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper.
