Anyplace TV Home Mobile (ON) for Android
Using device with Marshmallow and it won't work. App downloads schedule but won't let you watch scheduled programming. This app will work on a tablet but aspect ratio messed up. Will NOT work on smartphones. Will you spend some smart money and get these apps working!
Update after update, and your software developers still haven't resolved this issue? What are they doing? This is a bit ridiculous and somewhat insulting to your customers, and should be embarrassing to rogers as it reflects poorly on your ability to debug your own software as well as your ability to provide superior customer support. Please make this issue a priority. Current error when logging in states that the service is unavailable. Not to mention if I get logged in, the app and box crashes!
Great as a PVR remote and good for recording something even when I'm not home. But as far as live TV streams it doesn't work at all. Shame maybe I should just go to bell since they seem to know what they are doing.
I used to love this app, sometimes I forgot to record a show but this app saves me from missing any shows or movies. I love that I can record anywhere. Now it doesn't work, it shut down after trying to log in. it hasn't been fixed for a long time. Don't bother downloading it. Really disappointed.
I had to answer not sure for all of the previous questions because the app has not worked since I downloaded it. I think that likely tells you everything you need to know about it. Really disappointed - again. Reminds me of Rogers past attempts at things like anyplace tv etc.
So frustrating that the idea of using this app is so we can program recordings when not at home. Used to work fine but not anymore. Online version also won't work on Firefox (no link to PVR at rogersondemand) but will with IE. Update: After reinstalling, the App had changed PVR preference to a non recording box even though when viewing the PVR page it showed the main one. Changed preference back to main PVR in settings and able to set recordings once more.
Shame Roger's can't get this app to work at all just says my data plan is incorrect and won't work. Bell's app works flawlessly though might have to switch
Oct 2016, absolutely worst app ever. It constantly crashes, can't login half the time because some Rogers server error, causes the PVR to crash when trying to manipulate any recordings or planned recordings. Rogers head been working in this since Jan 2016, constant excuses, escalated to the office of the president and still no resolution for any of the problems this app or PVRs experience. Waste of time, total joke.
E63 everytime I try to log in. Can't find any help for problem solving this. Come on rogers, you're better than this. - after a 5th reinstall it finally works. My account was already set up. Did nothing different. Just works all of a sudden...
Can't even log in, the app is trash and doesn't recognize the login/password, says it doesn't match the records. Yet that login and password work perfectly fine to stream on Sportsnet or TSN. Fix your app, goodness knows you have enough money to do it between us and the virtual monopoly you hold on communications in this country.
Can someone please help me understand how a mobile TV app doesn't allow full screen viewing!!?? It is extremely annoying seeing as other carriers do not have this issue.
Doesnt work at all. Its a shame that company with such a wealth and resources can't make a simple decent streaming app. Its also false advertising. I am taking a good look at bell fibe tv just because of this.
This app has the potential to be awesome but there's issues with it. First, it can be quite slow to load things. Secondly, when managing my PVR I need to logout and back into my account for the app to find my PVR, otherwise it says it's unavailable.
Doesn't work at all. The reviews are right. Don't bother downloading as it won't work.
Constantly crashes or lags, and takes a verrrrrrrry long time to verify my account when first logging in. So I need to reboot my cell each time for app to work. Not good at all Roger. I am a >15 year Rogers customer....not impressed at all, especially the amount of money I am paying each month for 4 cells, TV, landline, and Internet. So sad.
Other then recoding shows or a remote this app is useless keeps give error code 1202 when try to watch something on your phone, n as usual rogers techs are useless n not well trained on the app
This used to work, it was great to easily set a show to to record, wherever I was. Now I get an error E63 when I try to log in.
In several minutes the picture goes in slow motion then no sound then get stuck.
I pay So much money for something that doesn't work. Live stream is USELESSS. Wish I could put 0 stars.
Back to square one. Please fix
FAIL for all the Rogers Android apps (by the way, having a functioning Rogers account does NOT help)!
Works on my new phone, was having problems on Nexus 5.
Downloaded Android and program guide came up on tablet. Selected a show to stream to tablet and got an error message. Went to recorded shows and froze and my PVR had to reboot. Shame on Rogers for putting out this garbage. My wife downloaded on her ipad air and nothing worked either so know it is not an Android issue only.
Please fix, keep getting error message E63. Cannot log in.
Why does Rogers even make this app available? I have been trying to use this app for years and it has never worked. Just remove it from Google Play already and save us the aggravation. Too bad Rogers is starting to run its baseball time like this app.
Useless app. You would think after reading all the reviews you guys would do something about it. Smh.
Always has a live streaming error. Why release something that's broken Test your junk before you release it. This app basically does what my remote does and is useless on the go.
Since up date not once has this app worked. Same error message telling me to log out then back in
Terrible. Audio is out of sync, the video is janky and the interface is just awful. Rogers should be ashamed of themselves for even releasing this half asked excuse of a media app.
I have this app on 2 different phones a note 5 and a bb not able to set record on note 5 but can using bb with android
When I flip the screen to landscape, it still shows the bottom buttons to navigate... I am guessing this is a nougat issue, because on 6.0.1 it was full screen when I flipped. S7 here.
Disappointed i get to scrolling and once i hit channel 66 it freezes and becomes unresponsive the app was working fine till i got my new phone and downloaded the new version plz fix this
Works intermittently at home. Can't always login. Haven't got it to connect outside of home yet...So basically useless. Rogers, do something already!
Followed the instructions and there is no obvious way to set up a recording from phone. Not happy since they took this functionality off their website.
Tried streaming live TV and the picture slowed down, then lost audio and then just froze.
Mobile app works good for live broadcast. Only wish when I go landscape view it would go full screen and not show menus. Takes up to much space on landscape screen. Usually there should be a full screen icon. But thanks. Good app
I can login compared to other Rogers app but I cannot watch anything. Only remote works.
I LOVE THIS APP!! Worked the first time I tried it. Easy! I work long hours, and with this app - will never miss a show.

Plays video for 10 seconds...then slows down and no audio. I expect nothing less from Rogers garbage network. Just sucks I didn't know before I ordered everything. Zero stars unless someone answers my problem. I regret signing up with Rogers. Now I'm screwed for 2 years. F#€&
