Allcal: A Free Shared Calendar for Android
Great app! The chat feature is the only thing that could be improved!
App glitches horribly!! On a Note4 fully updated and app will open but then locks up. Uninstalling and reinstall does not help.
Very slow, very clunky. No way to filter hundreds of event listings...that's ridiculous! I apologize if there is a way to filter, but you guys hid it really well. Wish the comic convention picked a different system. Something with history or at least a fully functioning app. Comikaze people: if you're reading this, I highly suggest Stanza for your calendar listings.
takes up too much room. on my crappy phone i had to delete six applications for this to fit. switching between tabs takes too long to load. i don't want notifications from chat. i don't care about chat. it would be better to have groups or something so that i'm only notified of things i might actually want to be notified about. i would like to be able to share the calendar with google so i can see it within google calendar.
Why do i keep receiving notificatins after turning them off? I like my apps to stay quite and not vibrate so fix this ASAP or I'm uninstalling this app.
Wont even let me in. Useless piece of crap. So pissed that my con is useing this useless junk, cause now I cant plan for my con at all.
This app is pretty terrible, it's so slow and laggy it's basically useless.
It freezes every time I touch the screen on lg g3
The notifications just wouldn't stop coming in. Turned notifications off, turned vibration off and finally switched the app into offline mode. Nothing worked.... Except uninstal. That worked great. When I read this bug was fixed I'll install it again.
I was getting notifications every other minute and could not find anywhere to turn them off. Not user friendly. Not worth the memory space on my phone.
Wrought with bugs and server-side errors, it incessantly blows up your phone with notifications about every event as it occurs, whether you want it to or not, and there's no way to sort events to find what you want easily and quickly. I was late to four events and couldn't find one altogether because there's no where for the convention map to go. LACC, if you're reading this, please use Guidebook next year. I've used it at other conventions and never had a problem.
The app was mostly handy to have at the convention I just attended, but it operates so slowly sometimes that you feel it has frozen. Super clunky.
It won't even let me login. I tried through the account I made, and it just reloads the login page. Tried through facebook AND google, and I got errors. Tried contunuing as Guest, and it, again reloads the login page. Even after I uninstalled and reinstalled it, nothing. Maybe the iOS version works, but tlhe Android app is hot garbage.
I downloaded the app and cant find a calendar no information. Purpose of this app is??
Great app. Really efficient when you're running a business. EDIT : NEVERMIND, really hard to use, can't even figure out how to edit an already made event. Terrible
Maybe the interface for iPhone is better, but for Android, it's the worst. Navigation is terrible, and it's seriously lacking in the ability to turn off notifications for shared calendars.
Only thing I could do on this app a week ago was delete events. Now I can't even do that. I will gladly change my review when this app is something I can use. I would rather pay money for another app I used to use that I know will work.
No visual feed back notifying user that a background action is taking place
Good to see the community guide a startup's improvement based on feedback.
List of things wrong with this app. 1. The app is painfully slow under the best of conditions. 2. It’s hard to sign into for the same reason that it’s slow, sloppy code. 3. Tapping, scrolling and basic touch functions of the app are broken (bad code). 4. The search seems to be using only tags on the events instead of using native language search; indexing title and description. 5. Annoying notification that can’t be disable within the app. 6. No integration with other calendar apps like Google Calendar or iCal, apparently because they are competitors to this product, but since Google and Apple are in the Olympics and AllCal seems to be in the remedial Kindergarten bracket that's not true. 7. The app doesn’t adhere to accessibility standards, meaning the visually impaired cannot use this app. 8. No ability to share events socially. You can share events within the app to other users of the app, but not publicity on social media, email or text. This is a great way to kill the viral coefficient for the app or the events that use it. 9. Address links don’t open in Google maps. I hate Allcal’s map more than the calendar and that’s saying a lot.
Awful design, horrible UX
Pre-beta release quality, but has potential.
I don't always leave comments, but when I do I prefer that I hadn't installed this.
Very useful app. I like the design.

A place to turn off the notifications would be great. Also the ability to add friends and send private messages would be great. The app was great to keep track of everything in dragcon!
