About The Ziggy Handlink
NEW IN 3.5: Press the green button in Ziggy's lower left-hand corner to switch between NORMAL MODE and the new ASK ZIGGY MODE. In ASK ZIGGY MODE, The Handlink becomes your personal crystal ball. Ask Ziggy about anything you want to do, tap some buttons, press enter, and Ziggy will calculate your chances of success!
Ziggy Handlink is an unofficial fan app that recreates the classic sci-fi prop from Quantum Leap. It contains a variety of authentic sound effects, including the ability to "open" and "close" the imaging chamber door with a single button press. Pressing the "enter" button will reveal a second screen, displaying leap data(in Normal Mode) like dates, names and objectives, all culled from actual episodes of the classic series. There are over 90 possible scenarios currently available(pulled from all 5 seasons of the series).

to the clumsy cumbersome old Ziggy handlink. No longer will you need a separate device for communicating with the Ziggy mainframe, now you can do it right from any compatible Android device, including phones and tablets!
Say hello...
to a painless transition to the new Ziggy handlink. We have done our best to preserve the user experience from the legacy handlink, including an interface that should look and feel familiar to legacy handlink users!
But we didn't stop there!
The new mobile Ziggy handlink includes several improvements, including a new easy to read output screen! Gone are the days of squinting at blinking lights! Now data is available on a full screen interface accessible from the main user input screen!

We here in Quantum Leap R&D appreciate the importance of your established rapport with the legacy handlink, and have integrated many important aspects of that experience. Striking the top corner of your Android device will still deliver the same pain impulse to the mainframe as the legacy handlink did!
But we didn't stop there!
If you strike your mobile device while viewing the output screen, Ziggy will be forced to re-examine the data! This will clear the occasional "errors", and may result in a recalculation of odds, or, in extreme cases, a complete recalculation of your result!

I've always been a huge fan. This is a really good life like replica. I just wish it had skins to tie early versions as well. Al had many different versions.

Great app. My only suggestion would be to assign different buttons different tasks but keep all the great sound effects. One button could give leap place and date, another one could tell who Sam leaped into, another for the chamber door (which you already have) and another one could give Ziggy's odds on leap scenarios.

This app is a great recreation of Ziggy handlink, including the sounds and noises especially when you hit the side like Al did with Ziggy, it's cool to see the times of the actual dates of when Sam travelled to now if only there could be a image chamber or time machine to go back in time☺ a time machine app maybe, oh boy.☺

The family has been watching Quantum Leap on Netflix and that made me wonder if an app like this existed. Amazingly stupid and so fun to use. I have punched buttons and bashed the side of my phone for the last 2 hours getting my Al on. Can't wait to annoy folks with this!

I LOVE how true this is to the show! Everything is WONDERFUL! I am, however, also having trouble accessing the "ask Ziggy" feature. No matter what button I push and no matter how long I keep it pressed the feature refuses to activate. Aside from that it is just about perfect! My only 2 sound add suggestions are the leap sound and the sound when Al "teleports" himself to another location. GREAT JOB!

Awesome app. Exactly what I was looking for. However the "ask ziggy" feature doesn't seem to work, unless I'm making a mistake. Holding any button doesn't seem to change the mode. Other than that it's great. Will change review if I figure out how to access that feature.

Really great app, but the sound is way too quiet. U can barely hear the sounds in this app, and I have my phone volume turned up all the way. I can clearly hear everything else, but I can barely hear the handlink. Please could you look into this?
