Pronounce It Right

Even though I'm from the USA...UK English is more understandable). Used to work with all the language choices offline...now only works with USA English when not using data. Sucks now. Seriously was my favorite app till this crap.

Portugal Portuguese is actually Brazilian Portuguese, this is as offensive as ridiculous. If you don't have real Portuguese don't pretend to have it, I would rather not have it at all than having it in Brazilian which for us sound ridiculous.

Proper pronunciation of words is great. I can't stand misspelling n poor grammar besides each state having different accents!

App works great but would love it if i was about to slow her down as she's saying the word...I'm learning some medical terminologies and she says the word so fast it's like I'm not catching it fully

This doesn't work. I checked the pronunciation of a word I knew, and the app pronounced it wrong. It's simply a computer guessing the pronunciation of a word. 0/10

This app is really great ........ the different accents and languages it provides are just great!! But i don't know why it sometimes stops working..... shows utterance problem..... can that problem be corrected?

There is nothing worse in the English language, than to pronounce a word, incorrectly! Makes one sound like a total idiot. Wonderful idea & excellent work on this app!

Without internet we can use it. But it's not giving British English. Except that problem everything is excellent. If possibility is there I'll give 10 stars.

My husband has had a brain tumor surgery and then a streptococcus infection. .and this app has been so helpful for myself and my family understand the medical records. ..

Extremely satisfied with this app. When I have no clue to pronounce the words this app help me out. This app pronounce any words that you can imagine that would have trouble with. I recommend this app to anyone. Give it a try.

I love this app. But, lately I haven't been able to use it because upon opening it it says it's initializing, reading the languages in my phone, and stays there. I can't use it anymore. Please fix it!

I do really like this app so far. But there are a few things I would change. For example, I would add a button to easily clear the search field (right now you just have to use your delete key to delete all the letters in the word). I would also add something to easily look up the definition of the word. I did the paid upgrade because I thought that's what the word history option was (ie. definition and history of the word). Turns out that's just a list of all the words you've looked up so far.

I read/listen to audio books. It's been driving me crazy hearing all the mispronounced words. Now I know in France & Spain they're spoken correctly, even though I'm reading an English book! Lol!

It pronounces names that I've made up it is a pretty good app I love this app. Here are some examples of the names I've made up Vernila. This is how you originally spell that name if you put in for this app spell it in a different way it's spelled this way and it will pronounce it this way the original way it sounds. Ver-knee-lah

A great little app comes in handy. Helps me with words that I'm not quite familiar with when it comes to regarding the pronunciation of that word. Great for work school and even just fun looking upwards and figuring that out there pronounce. I would recommend it.

I love this app.... Could you add a feature that breaks the word into segment sounds like. /Hospital/ becomes ho spi tal. And maybe different rates of slow. .. however in saying this, even without this feature, it is a great app.

It works perfect. I had all kind of phone's, services etc and I never have problem with this app. So good . That fact that I'm foreign , helps a lot

It doesn't even let me choose languages, it didn't work not even once. Better fix those issues. EDIT: looks like I didn't have the Google text to speech app before hand, now it works.

As a guy who grew up on the streets of New Jersey and New York in the nineteen sixties and seventies my street sense and Common Sense two issues of the world are very solid. However, my book knowledge and use of the English language is coded with the pronunciation of a StreetWise Northern accent. Making it difficult to properly pronounce certain words let alone spelling them. This app has helped me tremendously with my vocal capabilities

It's ok to use. It could be better if the app don't turn on the volume to max level everytime the app launched. It will explode in your ear if you forget to bring down the volume control!

I am studying in class 7 I and have certain problems to pronounce some hard word with the app I had no problems to face I strongly recommend this app. it is not a waste of time thanks

Great pronunciation, though the sound gets to be a bit sharp and loud at times. But overall it's well pronounced. Please also take a listen to the other English pronunciation app Howjsay on android to further improve your app. Thanks!!

Pronouncing different in many times, and also pronouncing the letters in some words.. Not useful :(

I figured this would never be able to pronounce strange names and words, but I was pleasingly surprised. I think I've only found 1 word it had trouble with. I like it!

I've used this app for over a year and found it a great resource for English and foreign words. Sometimes I want it for words I've seen alot but I'm unsure how to pronounce.

I've yet to discover a mistake. Only improvement would be more languages preloaded.

Great app. I tried for the US English. Along with all English words, it pronounces nouns and names from any language(spelled in English).

The only thing I don't like is the volume control readjust to high ever time I go into my word history.

Have had no problems. Whenever I see a word that's new or old and I am unsure of correct pronunciation, I use this app. Thank you for enabling me to continue to learn.

Very cool for the linguisticly challenged, I should of got hooked on phonics.

There needs to be a setting to slow down the pronunciation.

I want to hear a man pronouncing these words.When I open and close the application it says "Sorry but app has stopped working.

I really like this app. It has helped me pronounce words in my anatomy and physiology class that I did not know how to say. It really helps to know how to pronounce word.

Studying biology and chemistry. Helps with pronunciation of difficult words! Bought the app, and got access to history, different pitch and speed of voice. Highly recommended!

I'm studying medical terminology for school. Some words are EXTREMELY long! For example this app can pronounce this 45 letter medical term! PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS! And it's pronouncing the terms just as they are supposed to be pronounced. This app will help me tremendously! Thanks!

Very useful and easy to use. Although it would be better if it is added/linked/associated with the meaning of the word also (I use it for studying English and at the moment I need to combine it with my dictionary. So both of them are 'incomplete' working separately)

I downloaded this app to see how to pronounce just one word. It immediately started downloading some "voice data..." something or other that I still don't know what it is. In attempt to stop it, I uninstalled the app but that download is STILL eternally ongoing. The notification won't go away. I hate this app.
