Since update it is harder to plan routes no longer can you drag route

Somethings gone very wrong at Copilot, 1. The new app doesnt give you any spoken early warnings to turn although I have ticked every warning option in the settings, "turn left" it says as you drive past the turning, not good if your in a lorry and it doesn't always tell you in advance which direction you should be turning when you approach a roundabout so you arrive only to discover you are in the wrong lane. 2. They have done away the the detour/diversion option which allowed you to avoid a chosen length of your route handy in the event of an accident or road closure. The customer services told me you could still use this feature by clicking on the map and selecting avoid this road, This does not work as it only avoids a few meters of the road and sometime still tries to drive you through it or tries to do a small loop round a side street to come out a few meters down the road again not helpful in a large vehicle, bring back the old option please. 3. They have stopped using the Google search engine through the app which worked well in favour of yelp which is terrible and rarely works, also they have done away with being able to enter British national grid as coordinates 4. They really need to update they're map as far as restrictions I get told Copilot has identified this road as restricted on trunk roads and in industrial distribution centers. although the hight restrictions I have not noticed any errors with. 5. There is no option to set eta inside the app when you plan a route.

It's good Lorry navigation I like it, it's working with no issues. So far so good ????

Absolutely banging app. But you Must remember to configure properly before use.

Rubbish take to small city roads when you can use double carriageway.settings set motorway and double carriagway don't know why need settings if not following. post codes 0.5 miles away. Want refund support not working rubbish not recommended -15 ????

Please update . Today im use copilot cross my lorry to 18 tones week bridge A3218 and chobham road 7.5 tuns weight limit

Now things are getting better. Keep working on the auto routing.

Can you guys tell me where you hid the detour feature? It was easily available through the quick menu in the previous version. Now it's either gone or I'm just blind. Edit. So now I know Detour feature has been removed. And I know how to avoid road from your articles but to be honest this is not the best way to do it quick when you out in a busy city centre doing your deliveries. So my question is how to get my money back as now your sat nav is not the same as the one I bought from you before.

I use dark mode (autumn) always to save on battery. Now with new update maps have less dark background (it's greyish) and my battery is running out quicker. Why did u do this. Where is the logic. I also lost my saved favourite locations. Also i don't understand why u have back up to the cloud when its not working. Overall great app.

This app has improved a great deal however things still need to be worked on for it to be reliable. Eta calculation has been sorted and is now more accurate. Active Traffic needs to know about night time road closures. You still need to have local knowledge of your route and advance notice of closures. The data is out there because Google maps knows about the closures.

Just like a previous version, this truck nav is useless in central London or any place that has weight limit on roads with access available only to permit holders. It just stops navigating and does not recalculate route. Just the opposite of what one would want, and may lead the driver into trouble if he/she does not know the area. One can navigate by selecting the car mode, but then one looses the bridge height limits.

Finally been updated. Looks great, works great, HGV1 driver 99% accurate for me. Only problem it won't transfer my routes from my other co pilot even though under same account.

Copilot when are you going to update the map. Still shows driving through a field instead of the new M6 junction 19, A556 to M56 upgrade... Other sat nav providers have updated there maps. Why have you not done this one.. Should not use the excuse its because its the play store.

The only thing that really bugged me about Co pilot Truck was having to search through all my unordered favourites now with the update that problem is fixed. Like the new layout. Look forward to using the updated version.

I am using this app for almost 2 year's and it's the best I've used until now. It has saved me in some difficult driving situation , especially thru Central London. From my experience with the app, keeping in mind I use it on daily basis, I have encountered 2 major problems. I feel that it's my duty to report these problems so others won't need to feel the same anger I did.Problem 1: When the 1 year live traffic update expire and you don't renew the option for example, the settings are changed without your personal permission, you are no longer allowed to use the option of practical route, it's automatically set to shortest route and that causes more problems ,sometimes dangerous than you could imagine.And problem 2, it's been reported but I did not been assisted with a solution, its when you change the device and want to perform a cloud restoration for you favourite place's saved before, you will be surprised, but the app it's saying that the restoration was successful, but the favourite places list its still empty. Please be aware that i had more than 600 favourite places saved in a long period of time and i have lost them all !Dear users,I have done my best and shared my honest opinion regarding this great App.i am editing this review to point out that your new update its full of bug's. It froze while in use and that is a major problem when you are in transit and don't have the option to stop and search again your destination, the favourites saved are not being restored once you change your device for whatever reason, there are plenty of road's that are not updated for the width restrictions, especially in London, also the live traffic updates are not reliable . And the main problem i have also reported on your forum and still don't have a solution is: app is already purchased and works without restrictions on the 1st device and when you change device's, for any reason (damaged for example) you just have a 30 days trial and then you have to pay again??? What if im unlucky and the device's im using are damaged and change 3 device's in one month? Do i have to pay again? Where is the logic in this?

Updated this morning now it keeps freezing have complete close apply and restart to get it to unfreeze

Latest update is bug riddled, it's not stable and should not have been release until thoroughly tested. You use it for 5 minutes and it freezes, you only notice it's not working because you endup driving past your exit/turning and Copilt is frozen in time a few minutes earlier, not alerting you any more. I am a professional hgv driver and have happily relied over the years on 3 fully paid versions of Copilot Truck and now all don't work properly anymore since the update. Side note: (I use Samsung devices and the GPS stopped working on them at the same time of Copilot's new update release. hummm). I have major issues with cloud backup data missing once you've signed in, log out and in again, then password not recognised, tried renewing and get new password and still not recognised. I think the new look is a step backwards and has a telly tubby look to it, the older version showed more detail, which made it stand out and more appealing from the other brands on the market. But now they are all starting to look the same. BAD MOVE. A few things I would like to point out; 1: Where is the set destination by "find on map" (you have to go into drive mode and set display to 2D mode, allowing you to search around, then pick a point). Lots of places i head to by picking them on the map, when not knowing actual addresses or post codes. 2: 3D perspective almost looks like 2D now and i want to zoom out more and see whats up ahead. 3: Fat chubby road lines compared to the older version which had more detail, especially when approaching complicated junctions and multi exit roundabouts. In cities you need clarity not chubby road lines. I have 2 android versions (one with a Black truck icon and the other with a Yellow truck icon) the 3rd was on my earlier iphone. Please put things right and give us a bug free version like the previous version we all PAID a lot for and worked. A not so happy long time customer.

If I hear copilot has identified this road is restricted one more time.... $&€%%$$¥ Restricted roads warning repeatedly comes up on same route, even when your in a lorry park or industrial estate. Warning notices are also opaque so you cannot see the map while active. I'd rather have the option to disable or a flashing corner icon not the whole screen blocked.

Ive tried them all, this is by far the best. Not perfect but you will never find 1 that is. Its a tad on the expensive side for a download only. Live traffic is ok but i wont be renewing. An improvement would be to have postcode recognition from history. Like igo primo. Other than that i cant fault it.

Active Map is not as great as Google Map. Also moving map with finger lags when Google maps works flawless. When driving using free map with no direction 7.5 ton limits roads disappear. Id like to see those orange boarders while driving too

Eta calculation is still flawed when using Active Traffic or Active Routes. Eta keeps getting further away as you drive with no traffic issues despite adjusting the speed profiles to what you'd expect to be driving (say 50mph). The eta's are far too optimistic to be useful. You'd soon be running out of driving time. ALK have been aware of this for a long time and still have not fixed it. Why are they not interested in fixing their broken product? Getting in touch by they're support forum doesn't work!

Live traffic is rubbish. Often takes you through built up bust area when there was a simpler route for example will take you through a town centre when there's a bypass or motorway option. Takes you Down dirt tracks sometimes. Also be aware if you use this a lot it will burn your amoled screen I suggest using in dark mode all the time if you use this daily.

As per usual when you update, cause's more problems than it solves. Last time lost the vehicle icon this time won't open. Goes so far,then just crashes.

Updated off goole play to latest version and now have no traveling arrow indicator on map

It's good for an app, it would be better if speed limits and camera locations were accurate. Also weight limits need improvement

I downloaded new maps. It said: map data downloded, you can now use copilot. But after tapping on ok it says: map data not found error -717 and the application closes. I cannot use what I payed for.

I have contacted copilot as you need two ID's if you have the car version which was not stated used for work and nearly got me fired due to crashing and not finding the address, brought a dedicated unit to help and after asking for my money back three times I Havant herd any more from them.

Problem with loading fixed after a comprehensive guide forwarded by the development team. Nice app overall

Bought CoPilot Truck and there's not the option to select truck from vehicle preferences. I have Car RV Bicycle and Walking. Please help..!?

Mint works far better than Tom tom
