by Y####:

Good interface, sensible and accurate routing and the most beautiful maps of any of these programs. However, it always crashes on me. Once I start driving the map freezes and I have to pull over and restart everything. This happens maybe 75% of the time I try it. Using a OnePlus 3T which is easily powerful enough to cope. Please fix. Also there has been a roundabout built near my house over a year ago and it still doesn't know about it!

Y70%
by Y####:

Great for minimising data use and when driving in more remote areas. Also has a useful multi way point trip planning feature and over speed limit warnings. Not so great for precise drivers point of view turn by turn direction, or up to date location search coverage. City directions are also less reliable than when outside city centres.

This was an excellent app but the map updates will not download on my phone, the app having first removed them for the update. So an unusable app at the moment and considering I paid a lot for this app so not impressed. I dare not do the update on my tablet or I'll be completely stuffed.

Thought europe directions were ahiwing correctly but sayibg the wrong qay. Actually it is the 2 mile voice which ia wrong all the time. Been faulty for 2 years now

I have used copilot for a number of years and have found it to be invaluable in the UK and Europe but since the last update it seems to have a really annoying bug which makes you set a routing profile every time you use it. It saves it as long as the app is open but as soon as you close the app it disappears and the next time you use it you nave to set one again. Its not the end of the world i know but its really annoying and didnt do it before the update. I have contacted copilot but have not received a reply so i thought that leaving a negative review might get a response. I dont know if anyone else has had this issue or if its just something i am doing wrong but if anyone has a solution please let me know.

Some nice functionality, great screen display, very messy convoluted menu navigation. Good traffic spotting , but not up to TomTom standard (much much cheaper for ALL features and updates), terrible traffic re routing, has no issue with dumping you in a severe jam. No camera reporting, this lags behind ALL the competition! No average speed zone ability, totally ignores it abd assumes non roadwork speed applies, and this type of measurement is becoming the norm for all road works!

The developers have listened to their loyal customers and sorted out the important ( to me, anyway) issues. Particularly, the difficulty I had in the first issue of 10, to install 3rd party Pois without it crashing every time. I have now used it for 5 weeks touring France and it behaved faultlessly. It is my preferred sat nav of all time and recommend it unreservedly to my friends. One little gripe- I haven't noticed that copilot offers traffic avoidance routes when hold ups occur. Tomtom and others come up with a suggested bypass route. It seems to suggest it in the start-up video but I have never been offered.

I have used CoPilot for several years. I wasn't a fan of the major update they did last year where a lot of the changes were for the worse. I soon became accustomed to it, but still didn't like parts of it. Specifically the tiny icons in the top left corner when you went into the menu (3 lines) from the nav screen. This latest update is such an improvement, so much easier to navigate the menu with the full screen used and much larger buttons. Same with the 'Find location' screen. Simplified and larger buttons - much better than the busy cramped layout previously. Since Pocket PC days I've always used my SatNav in landscape mode. The previous version changed this for the worse, so great to see it tweaked significantly for the better. Now looks great on my Samsung S8 wide screen. One omission in the new update though - why have you removed the OS Grid option in Find Coordinates?! Keep up the good work and credit for listening to the feedback from customers about the major changes made last year. UPDATE 17/8/17: Thanks for the reply re OS Grid bug. The workaround did the trick and the update released today has fixed the bug. Thanks!

What has happened?? Have used this app for a number of years travelling in France and all was great. Now after the update my maps no longer appear when i am zoomed in to a usable range. Nothing appears in 3d mode at all. I cannot use this app at all now. How do i get a refund on this product?? Edit - following response from developer - very quick response - i have now managed to get this working again. Many thanks

Y70%
by Y####:

Since the update its rubbish. It's hard to navigate and is jist like any other satnav. The best feature was to easily drag your route so you can take a scenic route. That's now gone and you have to set a billion way points. Allow an option to use the old version please!

Y70%
by Y####:

Lots of things are poor. Speed camera warnings don't work. Most of the cameras I pass the app doesn't know the speed limit, so shows you as speeding at any speed. At the same time it removes the speed limit indicator so you can't even check that. Doesn't know about average speed cameras. You can only turn sound on or off, so there is no option to turn off direction guidance but leave alerts on. Given the app has commute me, this is ridiculous. Doesn't show camera locations without POI on. Navigation always tries to take you to a main road even when that is both further and slower and every other app will show you the best way.

The latest upgrade has produced an app that I find impossible to use. Gone are the simple menus that ask you to enter a destination and I'm still trying to find the menu option to do this in v10. The user manual is useless too as it refers to options that do not appear to exist. All in all a retrograde step.

Y70%
by Y####:

Shame. This was a good sat nav until it was updated. It was easy to use and I have the USA & Australia versions too. Now I'm looking for an alternative. I just seem to be hunting around the menus all the time. Can't drag a route easily. Can we have the old version back please?

S70%
by S####:

Hard to use. Inflexible, cannot make minor changes to route. Thoroughly dislike using his app - wish I had not wasted my money buying this. Don't understand the flow of the app doesn't seem intuitive to me.

N70%
by N####:

The app has become very much more intuitive! Great. I've used it for years, because it let me download the maps,, but I never really liked it till now. Now it leaves nothing to be desired! The Norwegian voice is good, too, by the way.

V70%
by V####:

Been using this app for years both in UK and USA. On the whole it has performed very well but since the change of online search provider to "yelp" in the recent update I think that was a retrograde step. This provider has proved on numerous occasions to give inaccurate information or no information at all on the location I am searching for. However, if I use another well known search engine the information I am looking for is there. Please change back to the online search provider you had before the update or at least give us a choice. I find myself using the navigation system of the well known provider more and more when the Yelp search engine fails to provide the search information. Would have given you five stars if there was a choice of search provider or one that was more accurate.

I h ave to write a review to communicate with developer as all web pages and social media sites have no email listed anywhere. So great app while it worked but my old Android 3.0 HTC phone got reset recently and when visiting the play store to reinstall it said it wasn't compatible any more but was working fine yesterday. So can i download an old APK file from some where or have I wasted my money and need to buy a new phone?

Y70%

Please let me roll back the update. This used to be great Satnav but the latest update is totally dreadful, the UI is terrible... definitely can't recommend Copilot anymore.

I70%
by I####:

It used to be a fantastic app, since the recent update its completely useless, I can't add custom poi without it crashing. The interface is far less intuitive. A massive backwards step by copilot

Y70%
by Y####:

Was delighted with this app, but since a factory reset of my samsung S7 I am unable to use it! At various attempts get a error code 726 then will no recognise my purchased info and email! Contacted support but not a lot happening apart from automated email reply. How to go from 5stars to NONE

Y70%
by Y####:

Most recent update is dreadful. You say you have improved it, I say I'm looking for something else.

D70%
by D####:

Don't like the update, not as intuitive. New colours and sizes of font unreadable.

Y70%
by Y####:

Previous versions were superb. This latest version is just rubbish. I have many issues that I can't list them all but the main ones are.. when launching, I get an error message saying location services aren't enabled. They are. I've been unable to load my custom pois that worked perfectly in previous versions. Menu navigation is just confusing. Many buttons simply do not work. Bring back the old version please. I wouldn't have wasted my money on this rubbish. UPDATE: Despite the many issues that people have raised, there have been no fixes delivered. A quick fix would have been to enable the ability to revert to an older version but this request has been ignored. I feel totally let down with this. I paid a premium for a quality app but there are far better free sat nav apps out there. Such a shame but clearly customer service is low down on their priorities. UPDATE2: I don't believe this company. Even the customer feedback form doesn't work properly in firefox (on ubuntu). It won't accept my answers (too negative?)

Y70%
by Y####:

I have been using copilot for years as it is excellent for routing with a caravan using the RV profile. The new visual upgrade is very welcome. I am still coming to grips with new interface, but everything works once you figure out where the option is and the display is more responsive when planning trips with a lot of zooming in and out. The memory manager seems much improved. I think the new style will be a lot easier for newcomers too. It is still my go-to app when towing.

Y70%
by Y####:

Un excellent navigateur qui ne cesse de se perfectionner. La mise à jour d'aujourd'hui, 27 janvier 2017, est extraordinaire !

Y70%
by Y####:

Rubbish since the upgrade. They have ruined it. Looks cartoony, menus are gone or hard to find, speech is verbose, what were they thinking? [Update. I have now been in touch with the support team as suggested. Their only advice ... update my map data! Exactly how this is supposed to fix the degraded map style, give me a sensible zoom level, make the interface more comprehensible and - above all - STOP THE THING NOW BLATHERING AT ME CONTINUOUSLY (because adding signpost descriptions makes instructions so long they now run into each other) rather escapes me. Though I admire the optimism of "If the issue persists please do not hesitate to let us know." The issue will persist until you either roll back this "downgrade" or else I give up and find a (still) decent satnav app.] Update 2. After being ignored for a month, I poked the support team again. I got back "We are constantly looking to improve CoPilot, however at this moment, unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee if and when your feedback will be implemented. So no, they're going to leave it rubbish for the foreseeable future.]

Used it on a week long motorcycle trip. Mounted my phone to the bike. Earphones in. Went through 5 countries. Never crashed. Never lagged. The odd roundabout wasn't displayed but was easy to follow. If you pre-set your destinations it makes things simple. Click where you want to go. That's it. Just follow it.
