In "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, The 150th Anniversary Animated Edition for Tablet Computers," affectionately known to us as "Alicewinks", Alice falls down the rabbit hole and encounters many unusual characters and has many adventures. This “audio/video/text” production features the complete original story voiced by numerous actors and actress plus animations based on a dozen early 20th century artists.

This app contains the video and text of the complete story. The 720P HD animation is delivered in “portrait orientation,” as was the artwork. The unabridged text is read by the narrator with the many characters' dialog voiced by 18 additional actors and actresses. A text track and "Read-Along" mode allows the user to follow the original text along with the voices and animation. The soundtrack is enhanced with various sound effects. The illustrations of 12 early 20th century artists are used to animate Alice’s adventures and bring the characters to life. Thus, there are 12 different Alices each a bit different looking, and, as she herself says, she is constantly changing! Most of the other characters also change as the tale proceeds as well.

This video is designed to be viewed on Tablet Computers and is meant to be seen in "portrait" orientation, that is to say the "long side" facing up and down. This is a very unusual orientation for movies or video presentations in general, but we believe that most tablet users will find it quite natural. This video of the full a/v/t "book" is 164 minutes long. The video has not been copied to the user's "video" or "movies" folder for viewing with another video or movie player. It should be viewed using the app.
