Anyone else think the "one quarter" widget is terribly ugly? I'd like to see the widget changed to the "half black/half white" icon in Market. PLEASE!

No auto bright on the my touch is the suck. This app is a savior

A70%
by A####:

Only thing missing is switch from dim to automatic option

T70%
by T####:

Why isn't this a part of the Android OS? Excellent widget. Simple toggle does exactly what I need for dark/bright environments. Galaxy Nexus.

R70%
by R####:

Even setting the minimum to 0 is still not dark enough for me to use at night on nexus one

R70%
by R####:

Does what it is supposed to do and is very quick and easy to use. Best widget out there, awesome job.

T70%
by T####:

Toggle with widget or w app is nice. Screen going light then dark is a little weird on donut. Backlight! app switches a bit smoother.

Q70%
by Q####:

Shut auto brightness off on my droid x, but made no difference

T70%
by T####:

Easiest & best widget on mkt4 single-click, instant brightness control! Does exactly what it says; reliable & pleasant. Thx dev! G1 rox.

T70%
by T####:

2 settings-0% and 75%. Perfect for what I need.

T70%
by T####:

The only one that works in the browser. Droid X, Froyo. The interface takes getting used to, but it's stable and reliable. Solves the insanly bright backlight on the X. A slider or up/down buttons would be more user-friendly.

T70%
by T####:

Great app for quickly adjusting the screen brightness with one click! have droid x.

T70%
by T####:

1 click widget that toggles between min & max brightness - exactly what I wanted :-)

E70%
by E####:

Would be perfect if it toggles between 3 brightness levels instead of 2. I need it dim at night, medium for indoor use and bright under the sun. :)

J70%
by J####:

Works on Evo. Crashed HTC sense UI when adding home icon button, but after that, everything works. Would love to have a better icon.

T70%
by T####:

Awesome, must use in conjunction with auto brite.

T70%
by T####:

Just what I was looking for. Makes managing screen brightness so much easier.

T70%
by T####:

Works great on my HTC Hero, not sure why others had a problem. Wish it had a better icon though...

T70%
by T####:

Works well on 3G Slide. I use it all the time. Ability to toggle brightness helps extend battery life. I recommend.

T70%
by T####:

Ive tried many widgets this is the best and quickest for my needs. Two settings you set the min and max. With 1 press u could go 0% to 100%

J70%
by J####:

I have the galaxy s fascinate. Seems that it goes to where I want it to 0% but goes back to default darkness set Max and min to 0% still does it.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great for 2 level brightness switching when between bright and dark areas. However, Android 2.1 users have a switcher already in the powerbar widget

T70%
by T####:

Excellent.. saves hassle..

Great app for toggling between brightness settings.

T70%

N70%
by N####:

I spent 30 min trying out bloated apps. All I wanted was a simple brightness toggle - this app. Thanks!

E70%
by E####:

Motor Droid with froyo, dims below 10% but then instantly returns to 10%. I have auto brightness disabled

Y70%
by Y####:

On droid X, I preset 2 levels with sliders. Tap to toggle between them. PERFECT!

N70%
by N####:

Would be better if it can do more than just 2 settings. Must people need at least 3... Evo.

Q70%
by Q####:

Exactly what I needed. just one small complaint. the home screen icon "appears" huge. It is normal size but feels large. Maybe a different icon...

N70%
by N####:

Wish there was a 3rd setting or to cycle thru auto, but works great, does what it says. Droid2

Y70%
by Y####:

Works on Desire S, android 2.2.3. And its free! Though "-20%" would make it even better.

N70%
by N####:

Like the concept. I care only about two presets an fast toggle. Would be perfect but option to install on home screen broke the launcher.

N70%
by N####:

Exactly what i was looking for! Set two default brightness levels and a widget to toggle between the two. My battery thanks you!!

J70%
by J####:

Brilliant, allows switching btwn 2 brightness levels for outdoor as needed 2 save battery.SGS

O70%
by O####:

this is great! would be nice to have an OPTIONAL 3rd setting for brightness for more flexible switching

N70%
by N####:

Works on my Android 1.6 Moment. Awesome. Most widgets don't work this well.

R70%
by R####:

Pretty good! Still suffers from same issue as 'screen filter' where it turns off automatically for no reason.
