BLE Explorer (Alpha) for Android
Works well for very basic find/view/read of BLE devices. At time of writing this, does NOT support notifications and does not fill in a lot of SIG standard names for characteristics/services. Those two things make it limited use in debug otherwise would have given it 5.
Super app
Scanned and connected to my Bluetooth LE peripheral as promised. I like how it shows all the info about the profile of the device. Useful for someone who has no ability to build android samples, but certainly the author could have tried to add a bit to what Google already wrote.
You changed the icon and published the Google le sample.
Excellent. Proves the Nexus 7 can see BLE devices. Great start!
Yes works on Nexus 4
Rubbish app. Only changing the name of BLE sample in API18
tried it on nexus 4, it didnt find the beacon next to it, uninstalled.
Thanks for the effort! works on my new Nexus 4... now waiting for Endomondo to support my MioAlpha watch
Just wanted to see if I was really seeing BLE devices - Apparently I am!

You could at least have done a bit more than just publishing Googles ble example without any modification but the icon
Good tool, RSSI would make it great.
You cannot write values/characteristics with this app. All characteristics are listed as "unknown" except the standard characteristics like manufacturer or firmware revision
Just what I wanted to verify BLE functionality.
Wanted to verify that BLE works on my Nexus 4 and can see my TI sensor tag and my Metawatch. Did exactly that, not more. ;)
Seems to be a ripoff of the TI Sensor Node app. Or is the TI app a ripoff of this?
