Today in History - On this Day

I like the app, I think it's well designed with great settings options. I do wonder, though, what the premium features are. The app experience didn't really change after upgrading besides ads being removed. Regardless, I'm happy to send a few bucks to a the developer that built this great app! Highly recommended.

Hoped for history related to my "region" but that basically means you chose (American?) English not England. Do get to find out how important the American civil war was though, with lots of events based around that and not Europe as a whole. I then tried paying for the app to see if that would provide more relevant history to me, took my money and just gives an internet error connection whenever I try to select 'premium user' functions. Not money well spent.

Set to Polish, the date of 8 AD (2009 years ago) points to the Baikonur cosmodrome fire! And the year 29 AD mentions a Saxony mine disaster! Something's not right, Gentlemen. :)

Well-made app.. But, there's an information overload there. I believe tags can solve this problem. If I am only interested in scientists, then currently there's no way to filter the list to see birth and death of scientists only.

There is no option to know only about particular country's history. I am more interested to know about Indian history on date basis than world.

The developer is nice and prompt with responses and help, it was definitely appreciated. The app is awesome, and superbly informative! If you have an issue with the widget, I would recommend to unistall and re-install. Thanks for a good app :)
