App Downgrader (ROOT)

A great app! Does exactly what it says, and very well! It even downgrades system apps, which is very incredible and useful. Only minor issue is you can't select an apk from external storage like SD card, it's not really a problem and can be used either way.

This worked for me to downgrade openvpn client. I think most people give 1 star for apps because they don't know how to use it or using it wrongly. I urge developers to include manuals at least at first launch. Thanks for your work...

My backups are all on the external SD card, but there's no way to access that from this app.

How much time does it need?...I'm trying to downgrade the google app on cm13 ROM and its taking forever!

I successfully downgraded my Whatsapp from version 2.16.392 to 2.16.257, because I hate the new emojis. I did this on my Moto G2 running on M.

I wanted to downgrade the app "Swipe for facebook" and this app did the job with no problems at all. Definitely worth 5 stars ✨

Useless, thought it would at least have a repository of common apps but no you have to search out the APK you want anyway. And then when I click downgrade it just spins in circles for minutes on end.

BS. this uninstalls the app first which deletes the data and logins. This defeats the whole purpose. I wish there was a -10 star rating

I installed it on both my rooted phones so i could get older version of ebay, but app opened and then there is nothing in folders to choose apk from. And then it just stops and shuts itself off. Was worried but persisted in finding the right apk on my phone, moved it into a specific apk folder after I used an extrsctor, then reopened the app... And it worked then. Good app to have but you must know where to find the apk on your phone, otherwise you will struggle a bit.

Ah, I'm on old device running zenui and asus got messy with the new zenui 3, so I decided to downgrade it, but I don't want to loose why data, and you save my day. Thanks a lot. Why there're so many people giving downvote?

It doesn't let me select an app to downgrade. It just wants me to browse for an APK and limits that to the SD-card. But no hint of what sort of APK I'm supposed to select, let alone where to get it.

What a fall from grace. It used to run exceptionally without any gimmicks,. This has changed with a recent update. An ad pops up and has to complete before the downgrading happens. For those with ad blocking on, the app just refuses to do anything.

How did this app get such a good rating? Its super crappy

Worked like a charm for me. Was having an issue with the gallery app. It just downgraded in a matter of 10 seconds.
