Character Notes

It is proving to be very helpful to have all of the info about my characters in one place. However, I would like their to be a custom option for gender, as one of the characters I'm writing is agender, and they don't fit under male or female. I would also like to see an ability to sort characters by story. Currently it isn't a problem for me because I only have one story I'm writing, but I am going to have more it the near future. Plus a lot of people using this app have multiple stories. A way to sign in to an account and have your characters available across all of your devices would also be really cool. Thank you for making this amazing app!

Okay, I really like the app, but it needs something to fix, for example: you can't upload photos about your characters, and some features confuse me (I'm not native English). I also want you to add group characters and links to other characters. My another problem is I'm using Android 6.0.1 and the app's shortcut didn't display its icon, but it's working when in Google Play. I hope you read this notion and do something about it. Thanks.

It's a great app for creating characters, I definitely recommend it! There are a few features that would be nice and aren't in the app, however; an option for folders would be nice so you can sort your characters for different stories into different categories, a feature to add a photo would be nice too, and maybe a way to link characters that are related to each other? Besides that, this is an amazing app! Thank you for making it!

This is an excellent tool to help flesh out characters and even get a sense of what direction you want to take them in a story. My only complaint is that the character list can get a little cluttered when you start creating a lot of them. There ought to be a way to separate characters by the stories they show up in, so we don't have to waste or time scrolling through a bunch of names that bare no relevance to the story.

Its easy to use and has the categories laid out nicely. Unfortunately the app crashes when I press save and some input goes missing.

Have liked it better had I been able to write my plot. I actually thought this had a random generated story teller that used my characters and input as a references. Disappointing.

This will help me develop my oc's a bit better since I'm an artist. And I'm aspiring to be a writer one day for a comic or manga. So this will keep my characters in check

Very helpful with my terrible notes but under similar were chibi and furry character creators so.... Just one star off for that and how bland it is with color and design

It's a good app just is missing a few things. A slot to type in race, and maybe a way to show the links between some characters

This is a really good and helpful app, but it'd be much better if there was a log in system so one could save their characters and see their notes on different devices. I had the app on my old phone, but now I have to retype all of my characters information.

Very good app, would love to add pictures, and i think if on the character list you could write like the book or story your developing characters for and put individual characters into sub sections for different stories it would make it more organised

I was disappointed when opened up the app one day and saw all my characters were gone. Months of work and research down the drain.

Great app! Does everything I need it to do. Being able to keep characters organized and save them helps. Wish this app could be synced between my computer. That would definitely make it a 5 star app.

I absolutely love this app!! Its very helpful and its a place where i can store all of my characters. It also gives me a chance to think about my characters so that when I right a book people can connect with the characters.

I like it so far. I eould like it if in the gender option you could choose someting other than just male/female

the only thing that could improve this amazing in detail app, is if u was able to group character together e.i. - book and factions.

Is there a way to export the character notes into a pdf or reference file. I'd like to have access to them away from my device.

It only allows male or female genders and I would like an option for non-binary characters. Maybe an "other" option or something.

I really needed something kind this for my novels, I don't mind that it doesn't have categorization in case you have multiple books because I remember my characters and know which book they go to. My main problem is with it crashing though, I will try to save and it crashes but all if the stuff I wrote I will be there, it makes nervous putting in any information just in case one time it doesn't save it. (I have everything written down on paper, I just don't want to waste time).

This app is really helpful but it'd be nice if we could upload photos?? For example im an artist not a writer and if i can draw my chara upload them and give the information thatd be nice?? And for those who write photos of very specific features that cant really be described in words, ya know what i mean?

It's a good start and it offers basics for character building. However, there needs to be a way to specify what story (or stories) that character belongs to and clearly show this information next to the character. Also, we need some ways to sort the characters, such as by story, importance, role, type (e.g., human, nonhuman), etc. Please also allow us to upload a picture for each character. In addition, typing will be easier if the app automatically capitalizes the first letter of names & sentences.

Would be great to have separate sections for different stories to put characters in. But my main issue is with the character description. Would be fantastic to have a summery or review section to see everything you just wrote of the person on one page after details put in then shows summery on profile page.

I adore this app and its soooo simple!! But could you possibly add a photo option? that would make it my favourite app!
