As mentioned in some other comments, requires you to tap on the link in the Tags window but won't work at all if you disable it.

Love it
Great app
Nice
Now I can use my AndyTags nfc tags and Smart Q app to trigger tasked tasks. Since most nfc apps don't natively support tasked integration but do support URL launching this is great. Thanks for this awesome plug in.
Necessity for Tasker to launch url's. My first simple Tasker routines make use of this.
Lol
The idea is good but it does no work. With the tag disable it doesn't launch the url and with the tag enabled it requires to tap into the url.
Thanks
No open option...
Samsung GS2 w/Jellybean.Downloaded this to try it with reading barcode labels. It works! Instead of an NFC tag, create a QR barcode & scan with your phone. I just used the "free text" option of an online QR barcode generator to be "tasker://task". After it read the barcode I then just tapped the screen to "Open Browser" & it ran my task. The big advantage of being able to use the BCS is that I can generate unlimited free barcodes for those places I don't want to risk losing a NFC tag, for infrequently used tasks & for simple tasks that I don't want to dedicate one of my precious NFC tags. Example: putting barcodes on test fixtures at my work where I can scan a barcode to start a timer to remind me to come back. And since they are paper barcodes taped to the machine, I can make a strip of several for different times. No wasted tags! Woo hoo.
Some Jellybean users won't be able to get this to work, not the apps fault just a jb issue but might save some people getting annoyed at the developer by mentioning it here
Doesn't allow seamless task invocation on KitKat. I get a "tags" popup asking me to select the app to process the NFC event. If I disable the tags app then just get an error beep and Tasker URL doesn't action the event.
But, Doesn't seem to work on my N5 if I disable the "tags" app. Otherwise you'll have to click the link every time you scan the tag. Fix would be greatly appreciated.
Works perfectly. This is exactly what I needed to launch Tasker tasks from NFC Task Launcher.
After scanning a tag, there's a popup where I have to choose the app to use the scanned data with and then, there's a "Tag discovered" list, where I have to tap the just scanned tag again to launch it. Very annoying. I'm pretty sure there's missing some NDEF_DISCOVERED intent-filter for it to work with newer Android versions.
On a Samsung note 3 I can't get it to automagically launch. Always need to touch the screen. If I disable the built in Tags it doesn't launch at all.
Does what it says on the tin. I use it to link url's from NFC tags into Tasker. Clean and fast. Thanks !
I guess this could be cool, but NFC task launcher works soooo much better. If there were a more robust instruction set here, this would be a solid choice.
Using 4.2.2 and this app doesn't work.
Works exactly as advertised. People using ratings for feature additions, or to solve a problem are ridiculous. You cannot expect tech support to watch the google play store system to pickup issues. Use support system for each app, and use reviews to review the product. This is an essential add on for tasker imho. Thanks to the devs.
Unfortunately it doesn't work on my Nexus 5 unless the Tags app is enabled - which also brings up the Tags dialog instead of directly running the task.
Also works for qr codes. Keep in mind this only works with Barcode scanner. Any other scanner will automatically open in the browser.
It does work well however on DROID dna when I write the task I have to select to run it. When I followed instructions to disable the tags app nfc stopped reading the tag at all. Could just be me but other than that cool. I do agree that other apps I have tried do not have this issue like Nfc task launcher
as someone else said, works with barcodes as well.
This is the one what i'm looking for a long time. working perfect with sony smarttags now.
