Awesome job by the team at OpenSprinkler. Amazed how easy this was to get going with a Pi Zero and the webUI and Android app are simple, elegant and working flawlessly. Will recommend to all my home automation friends.

Just incredible how well this all works.

Love this controller and app. There are a few things I wish the app had to fine tune zones and weather related run time adjustments but overall very good.

The OpenSprinkler app provides all the control capabilities which are available through the web interface, but on a well-executed handheld format. All aspects of control are available, and is designed to behave just like the web app, making it easy to understand. When I'm outside working on the backyard irrigation, the app makes it super-easy to turn on a zone for any length of time I want, easy to turn back off, look at the zone programming, make any needed adjustments, see what the current automatic watering adjustments are being made, look at any of the log files, and looks great doing it all. Remarkably mature. Previous to using OpenSprinkler, I had been using the Blossom irrigation controller. I liked the idea of Blossom, but execution of both the hardware and app fell short on features and function (hard to read, hard to use, did less by a long shot). With OpenSprinkler, there has been no buyer's remorse. Currently, I know of no bugs, and just hope that more value-added features get added over time. But as it stands, it is a winner. I have written to OpenSprinkler support on a couple of occasions with feature suggestions, and received prompt and courteous replies.

I have two opensprinklers and they act as one. The app is great. Simple to manage, simple to use, great Interface. Even my children use this application with ease.

The system is awesome!!! Very easy to set up and use the app on your phone! Love it!

Repeat count will repeat two times but not more. Calendar preview doesn't work right. It won't show anything pasted midnight like the log calendar does. So wants they work out the bugs I'm sure it would be cool.

It's a great program and is always getting better.

This app is great! I'm using it with OpenSprinklerPi and just had a sprinkler system installed. When it came time to test it out, the installers were surprised to see me controlling the sprinklers through my phone.

I'm running my OS system on Beaglebone with an expansion module.

Would be nice if the input text fields (e.g. site names, station names, program names) weren't so limited in length. Maybe that's a device issue.

Unfortunately this app has never worked for me. I can only get to the login screen. Attempting to login always results in a crash.

Much better than my old Orbit controller. Would be nice if the current date and time was displayed on every page.

works fine, just retired my old Hunter XC, this one is much better and love the wunderground adjustments!

I'm running it on three controllers, fantastic capability.

Had to update firmware to 2.1.4. Now working great.

This app drives my OpenSprinkler from my android phone and thus while far from home I can modify my watering schedules and monitor the outcomes. It's also very useful while working in my garden to manually turn off and on my water valves so I can check for clogged nozzles etc. The support in the OpenSprinkler forum is very prompt and competent. A GREAT thanks for the developer for such a little gem !

I would like to use it on my tablet (Archos 80 Titanium, Android 4.1), but PlayStore tells me its not compatible. Is it because the tablet does not have GPS? If so, why would this be required to control a device within the same network?

Very smooth, far better than the competition. Would love to see the addition of an email server for easier tracking, and support for a flow meter!

The percentage adjustment under weather is still not working for me. It never saves the value, just spins. I have to login to the web UI to change this setting.

Even paid, closed source apps rarely are of this caliber.
