eSecure 2.0 for Android
The app is lacking behind competitors. It doesn't notify when their an alarm on smart devices. Can't update with newer technology. Can't add WiFi cameras to monitor business or residential properties.
Worked good, then stopped arming / disarming. Now it's ANOTHER call for the techs.
App never shows armed "when armed" shows not connected but able to arm and disarm, not very user friendly.
Was working great, last two days, days disarming but doesn't do it.
No fingerprint login for Security, no push notifications. This app is pretty lacking.
If your looking for an app to just turn on and off your system, then this is for you... All the other features need a lot of work in order to operate properly.
I found a flaw in the programming and a fix that has worked for me and my wife. When you arm or dis arm from the main page that has the picture of the house on it it takes forever to show armed, just looks like it is trying to connect. Here is what you do, after you arm the system from that page give it a few seconds then go to the keypad page and it will arm. I found while testing that it was armed most times while showing not armed. Like it is not refreshing. Hope this helps
Get notifications that notifications are off, duh I set that option I guess I would know that. You'll be lucky it the system arms remotely, takes forever, or never. Geez and people get paid to produce this crap? My contract is up soon, I'll be gone for sure.
Login but won't send arm disarm codes as of April 6th, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Doesn't allow login
Now I can't get out of the buildings because this app is temperamental
This doesn't work for me it takes forever to disarm and doesn't respond half the time needs fixing
Handy to control security when away. If you find the app no longer works its likely because you changed your cell phone or device. Call them to resync your devices. You will be back to normal as was the case with me recently.

If you want to just turn on and off your system, then it's great once you figure out you have to make sure your user name is tied to your user code via logging on from a pc. When you start getting into Automation, the app is severely lacking. Doesn't always know the current status of the devices it's supposed to control.
It hardly ever connects to the system
Rarely connects to the panel.
Great app
Login but won't send arm disarm codes as of April 6th, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Protection One security system
Will not connect to the internet on my phone ( HTC ). iPad is just fine. What to do?
App allows one user won't let you change your timezone for events . notification can't be sent sms
Doesn't work. Won't arm or disarm system. Won't connect other than to view sensors.
Great for remote access but very slow when arming or disarming. I feel like I'm waiting on a dial up connection
Hardly worth having, since few of the automation features actually are available through app, and what does exist does not actually seem to work. I can't control my temperature using the app, nor see what the actual current temperature is.
App will only disable the alarm. It will not let me arm it. So what's the point. Great I can turn it off when I'm not home but I can't arn it again.
Not very reliable. The maker needs to update this app more frequently to make it better, but they don't! The wife hates it!
Sometimes sluggish, overall excellent.
Takes forever to arm my system. Faster to arm it physically and run than sit and wait for the app to do it.
Best platform out there.
App rarely allows me to arm the alarm. I am able to disarm, sometimes. For the most part not useful.
Crashes immediately when I try to run it on my Asus TF300T. Works fine on my Galaxy Nexus phone. Pretty basic functionality. I'm having some trouble getting the eSecure service to sync w/ my panel. It says it fails, but most things seem to work. It is not listing my sensors or home automation devices, however.
I thought there were problems on my Evo 4G LTE but wow can't even open it on a Samsung note 10.1 (also tried total connect don't work either) this is disgusting that I trusted these clowns with my home security. Service used to be better before they bit off more than they could chew in the tech world. I moved & brought their service to my new house I had everything hardwired by them during the build paid a fortune for all high tech garbage that don't work can't wait for my contract to be over. They gotta go.
This app is great on the Motorola Droid M! But crashes immediately when the app is opened. Fix the tablet crash and its 5 stars.
This app is a HUGE upgrade from eSecure 1.0. I can't wait to control my house with my phone! Home Automation rocks and so does Protection 1 for offering it!!!
Great! Product. If it crashes or won't launch or if you have a tablet you can download the parent app "TOTAL CONNECT 2.0" problem solved!!!
Won't lunch the app
Crashes every time on a brand new nexus 7.
No tablet support = lame

It is a very good app, very accessible to the Blind and Visually Impaired. One problem, I don't see a way to enable notifications even though I have notifications on on my phone. I also make sure I have notifications on in the app itself. So, no notifications. On my iPhone, I do get notifications when the house is armed or disarmed, however here, I am responsible for looking at the events category, something which often I failed to do and I know when the alarm goes off. It's still though is a very good app for controlling the system.
