Bad update with no accessible options for svr
My first day and the doorbell rings. I picked up my phone and NOTHING! Then at 10 pm, the panel starts beeping like crazy for no reason at all. This is a brand new system. Installed 7 hrs ago. Why is the battery low? Why is it not installed already fully charged? I'm switching to ADT or someone else. The app on the phone or internet does not work. This is not a reliable system and tech support told me that I have to deal with the beeps in the middle of the night until the battery charges (if it charges) or turn the system off. What kind of sense does that make? Not a good system at all
As of today the app is not working to manage the system nor does the website. Neither will talk to the panel to Arm or Disarm.
Wish they would add a phone motion triggered notification to remind you to disarm. With no panel by the door, I keep forgetting to disarm!
I use GE zwave plus switches with this app. Works great. Small delay sometimes up to 5-10 seconds but normally around 2-3 seconds. I'd imagine that is more the devices and distance more than the app itself. Overall I'm really satisfied and my wife loves just pressing the movie scene from the couch. App has widgets for Android OS that allows me to run scenes right off the home screen. I have 6 devices currently and I might get more but just did the essentials for now bc it's cost $$$$. Can't wait until these switches are just the norm.

This company suck big time! First I want to know when they are going to pay me for placing their Guardian sign in my front yard like that salesperson said! ok here we go first the service first install it worked fine. the next several days no camera & no doorbell. I called in they wanted to send the rep out to fix it but they had a 4-Hour window like my time is not important or valuable. Men after 3 months they told me I would have to pay for a technician to come out and look at it and repair it I said I wasn't going to pay for it because it never work properly in the first place and here is my troubles begin want me to pay $140 for the technician to come out and install it correctly and when they did come on a different day, I told him I would not be paying for his labor. he said that was fine. This guy did a great job he informed me that they never correctly install the system in the first place I need a WiFi enhancer in the doorbell wasn't properly install I spoke to a rep on the phone the same day we had his labor waive and the enhancer part waived until it was time to pay. I need to try to pull a fast one and try to take it directly out of my auto pay monthly billing account can't get any justice or respect as a customer suck right off the beginning. Had this service since June and here it is January 2018 because my camera off and I can't get it or go action. I never been satisfied and I will stop paying for this. I will fight this in court if necessary please do not get this app it sucks
Until it stopped working this week, I loved this app, but now I can no longer arm or disarm remotely, I have to use the system panel in my shop
This app is straight garbage no other way to say it, unfortunately I'm locked into a 5-year contract with these bums and soon as the buyout gets within reason I will be cancelling my contract and moving on to somewhere else that is more reliable, the fact that me and my wife have to tag team alarm when we leave in the morning for about 25 minutes to make sure that the away has taken in the system is just terrible and somewhat stressful at the same time, and after calling and complaining to guardian on numerous occasions the system has not gotten any better sometimes even gotten worse! but trust and believe if you call them to complain about their system or have them come out and fix their system that they put in they will charge you for each and every time they come out to your house to fix the problem that they not did not fix the first time they came there..Damn shame
I like that I can look in on my home BUT why isn't there an emergency button on the app. What happens if there is a break in while my alarm isn't on and I can't run to the panel? Im kinda screwed in that scenario.
The actual app could be a bit more advanced in today's age of technology but overall i have no major complaints. System does what its supposed to do
The mobile arming and disarming feature doesnt respond in a timely manner, and sometimes doesnt connect to the system. The sensors dont always trigger as well
Love that I have access to my system from anywhere, don't love that I can't seem to remove old phone info therefore get constant malfunction notifications.
Just told tech services that the control panel won't work, the app says Vivint instead of guardian when you open it, and none of the cameras show. If I could give this app and service *zero* stars I would. The BBB needs to hear about this and reduce their ratings down to an f.
Too much of a delay between notification of doorbell push and the app opening the video feed...by the time it finally opens, the person has left the front door. Would like an easy method of adding other features to the app such as smart door locks, thermostats, lights, etc... May be able to accomplish this from the website but I primarily utilize my phone now.
My system was just installed. Guardian also installed the wiring and connective devices through my new home with Ryan Homes. The front door locks open and close by themselves. The garage door has no link to the app and was a huge selling point for me to purchase the system. Customer Service says I need to wait 3 weeks for a tech to come out.
Love the remote features. I know this is not the only company capable of this technology. It works well for me
Easy and intuitive to use to set alarms, unlock, view cam feeds and check on status. Definitely get the app to use when away from home!

App works pretty good. It would be nice to be able to zoom in when looking at cameras. I would love that! Other companies have this feature.

Sometimes it does work but more times it doesn't work on our phones. We didn't have any problems until we got new phones an now we can't lock or unlock our home at ALL with our phones? I can't even have our daughter come look in on things now because of it? The remotes work fine, but this app sucks! please "fix it!"
