LDS Reading Chart

I use this app on a daily basis. It is helping me stay on track for finishing the Book of Mormon. I have often started reading the book in the past and would end up quiting. With is app and electronic scriptures I have read farther than I ever had before! ! The alarm is fantastic at reminding me to read so I read a little (or sometimes a lot) everyday. With small children it is helpful having this app as a extra bookmark. This app is one that I would suggest to others.

I could never build a good habit until I got this ap. It sends me a reminder to read my scriptures each day and I just don't turn it off until I have. I have been reading my scriptures now every day for over a year. Great ap.

I gave it 5 stars because it does exactly what it was designed to do and what it says it will do. The only suggestion I would make is to have it sync between devices. I read my scriptures on my phone or on a tablet depending on where I happen to be. It would be nice if my tablet knew where I read to on my phone.

Do you remember how exciting it was to get a sticker on a chore chart or an "A" paper? Even as an adult that thrill is still there. On days I "don't have time " to read my scriptures I find time just do I can mark it off on the chart. One question, is the a way to clear the entire page? When I am done with the BOM I have been unclicking one chapter at a time. Is there any way to keep track of how many times I complete the book?

I use it almost daily. The only thing I would change is setting a goal to read and have the app tell us how many pages or chapters we need to read to make our goal.

Reading the Book of Mormon was never so easy. I can keep track of where I am and how far I've read. I hope there are more of these for the New and Old Testaments.

This a great app and useful app. It helps to push me to read my scriptures. Only thing I would suggest is a Sunday School reading chart for the lessons.

Easy to use. It does remind you to read your Scriptures, but if you elect to read less than a chapter it doesn't allow you to track your reading.

It's great for people like me who don't remember where they left off. It is also good for those who are always in their car and don't have time to read.

This app is great! I love seeing my progress and my son thinks it's great too! Some nights a chapter that is too long we break into equal parts and this App helps me keep track!!

I have loved this application for some time. They improve it and when I think it can't get any better, it does.

This app could be great with a few modifications: a note section at the end of each chapter if you wanted to write notes about that chapter or add cross reference scriptures to particular verses or even talks that pertain to particular verses for talk writing; a calendar so that you can punch in the days and times that you read to show you your reading habits; a clock or stopwatch so that you can see exactly how long you are reading for and a median or average time based on whatever preferences you would like to see, e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.; and a better alarm system to set multiple times if needed, e.g., morning, noon, and evening. Do these upgrades and you will have a fantastic app!

I like the simplicity and of course the encouragement of a percent complete. I like having all four standard works. I like being able to customize colors so that it is visually appealing to me. As others have said, I too would like to see the addition of conference talks, a calendar feature so I can keep track of not only my progress in each work but my consistency as well and possibly a way to mark if I started but didn't complete a chapter/section. Thanks for helping make scripture reading a habit!

I like the fact that you can set an alarm to remember to read. The message sits in my notification bar until I've completed my reading for the day. This really helps me keep my priorities straight. There are a couple of features that, if added, would make it a 5 star app. 1 - the ability to back up and share progress across multiple devices; 2 - the ability to have multiple colors for checking off chapters; and 3 - The ability to mark a chapter as partially read.

I struggle to read every day. This helps me to remember and keep track where I am. Awesome app.

I have been involved with the church for 6 years now and have always needed an app or something to remind me where I am with my daily readings, with this hand app I have managed to read at least two chapters every day and know exactly where I am with my readings, I would recommend this to anyone

Works great like I expected it to. Only thing I would change is if it would stay to where you have scrolled.

I think this app is incredibly handy. I can keep track of my reading anywhere I am. Let's face it, I read my electronic scriptures more than my paper one. It's great to see the percentage complete at the bottom. I'm not much of a reader, so that is encouraging to see grow every time. I really appreciate the reminder alarm. Being a mom of little kids, not to mention very forgetful, I need that reminder! The only thing I would change is an option for an added alarm, I want to read in the morning and evening.

Useful for ticking off chapters across the NT 4 Gospels, trying to keep roughly chronological. Nice to have all Standard Works reading charts in one place, on my tablet where I read/listen to scriptures. I wish I'd used it when I was reading the OT chronologically as I forgot sometimes if I'd read all the little books, or where I took a break in Psalms! I like the % creeping up incrementally. Slow touch response on my Acer Iconia 7" tablet though, so sometimes I toggled a chapter back to unread by mistake.

I've only just started using this app, but I love so-far that it gives me reminders and gives me a visual way to track my progress.

It helps a lot to stay on track reading Scriptures, I don't have to make excuses when my schedule is busy or I skip a day.

Hey ! I was just starting to read the book of mormon and I wanted a thing like this but , I wanted it to like a beautiful place in the world and evry part of that picture will be evry chapter of the book of mormon and evrytime we finish a chapter , we will color a part of the picture so that we could know our progress easier and when were done reading the Book of mormon , we would be able to see a beautiful picture we made just by reading the scriptures and coloring the parts of it one by one :)

The church's app keeps not updating and keeps back to a few weeks ago stopping point. I am able to remember where I am with this app.

Had it on my phone so when I got my tablet it was one of the first apps to install after the Scriptures.

My kids love being able to choose the color scheme, and then check the box after we read. I love that is shows the percentage read so far.

Great just for marking. Would be better if we could set an ending date that would allow a daily schedule and show how much should be read daily to accomplish completion in a set time frame.

This is a very simple app and just what you need to keep you reading and there's an alarm that you can set and that has help me to read every day

I love that I can easily see where I last left off and I enjoy the progression % at the bottom of the screen. Currently i am trying to read to read 5% a day.

It is good and free! But it would be nice if it didn't always take you back to the top each time you use it. It would also be nice to mark certain scripture 'to read' rather than just 'read'...perhaps a different color to mark 'to read' compared to those that are 'read'. It would be nicer for studing and goal setting.

Nice to have all 4 works available to track, but the ADs slow it down too much.

This app is great, help me keep track on all my scripture reading.

I do wish there was a back up of some kind that would sync between devices or remember where you left off if you need to uninstall and reinstall.

I needed something to remind me to read and so simple to keep track, thanks!

Knowing how much I have read by percentage helps me keep my goals.

This is a wonderful resource, not only as a gentle reminder to read the scriptures, but it also keeps track of your progress in reference to what you have read (Old Testament, New Testament, and The Book of Mormon). Although, my personal progress isn't measured by numbers followed by a percentage sign; it is measured by the nourishment to my heart and soul. Much gratitude...thank you:)

Great little app, let's me know where I am, let's me keep track of what I've read, and I like that I get to change the colors of what's been read and my progress made.
