WikiMapia for Droid for Android
Previously using iphone and the iphone apps for wikimapia is good enough compare to pc version. But android version is so sad, need to load every time and when click on the place wont showing the place on bigger parcel. Saw from some forum saying would come out with the new version but still not seen so far. Hope the developer can come out with new version or else my money spent would be like for nothing. Thanks.
More handy than Wikimapia itself. Please add possibility to save location and magnification. Caching also would be good.
Ive already purchased it, but it always prompt me to buy it from the market! And i cant refund!! Fix this please. Or is this a scam app??
Good start. Doesn't cache anything, unsuitable for offline browsing.
The user interface is terrible, requiring a redraw every time the viewport is moved. It frequently can't decide on which entry you're selecting, and gives no information when you do select an element. It shuttles you off to a Web page rather than displaying the entry overlaid on the map. Because it must load everything with every tap (e.g. it needs to reload when you zoom in, pan slightly, miss the item you want, or pick the wrong item,) selecting the area you're interested in can take way too long.
