Dulux Visualizer ZA

Would give 5 star but a little more work is needed to get it perfect. When using the photo visualizer it is difficult to use the masking tape feature. A good fix for this would be to add a zoom feature. Another thing is that the cancel button is over the one side of the photo which makes it impossible to "paint" that part of the wall. A feature that allows us to move the photo around would fix this. The live visualizer works quite well when you hold the phone steady. Overall well-written and useful app.

I do like the app. I find that the steadier you hold the device the sharper the edges. Also lighting is also important. For example if there are picture frames or mirrors on the wall you will have a shadow on the opposite of the light source. When you apply your colour you get the splash effect. Direct more light to shadow areas by switching on lights or opening curtains/blinds. I always use masking tape for cornices and wall corners. The app can never be 100% but it will give you a very good idea.

Terrible. I couldn't be bothered to tell you in how many ways! If you can't do it properly, rather don't bother. Add the misleading tv ad and you've now put me off your paint. Off to Plascon I go.

Only worked half of the time ie paint on walls didn't change yo match swatch. Annoying instructions pop up every time so you can't see your pic without pressing twice. Also couldn't get the weatherguard range, it said it didn't exist. Found the colours randomly.

Thank you for this app!! I can play all day and with all the colours to choose from, it will keep me busy till I find my 'happy' and can start painting

Second time trying it and second time around it still hasn't improved. If I could give it 0 I would. Even when using masking tape and sectioning off areas it still won't add colour to light surfaces

This app could do with improvement. It is difficult to define spaces you want to colour in despite using the masking tape feature. Things such as vents, skirting boards and even shadows need to be defined but when you try to colour it the same as the wall you've just coloured in it either doesn't pick it up or it removes the colour from the wall. However it does give you a general idea of what a room might look like if you repaint it.

On TV ad this app looks great, but in real life it does not work so easy. And you can't try the colours on window frames or door frames. Or is there a way to do this and make using the app easier????

Moving into a new house, tried it on my room and it was terrible. Really frustrating when it doesn't respond as expected. Definitely is a good idea that has potential but needs work.

I thought its an over eager case like so many ap are and i was proven wring! Still need to learn how to drive it properly but got to see the effect with the colors and love it!!!

Gives up the ghost and declares my phone doesn't support the live visualizer app and this after testing 3 or 4 shades without a problem.......Guess I'll have to be more patient.

Not user friendly. Too many technicalities. Can I just take a picture and I apply paint ?

Its OK..I wish the tool use to trim the colour could be bent to get around objects and not just straight lines...but the app has potential. Will give five stars if the tool is upgraded.

It's a great app compared to what I've seen from other similar apps. I will give it five stars if they make the colours more realistic.

This is horrible it doesn't recognise my wall but it recognises my hand... what the hell... it's make it seem so easy on the ad but no it doesn't work

Pretty good. Sure, it doesn't colour edges well on some surfaces but ultimately does what it needs to do! Extremely handy.

Really gives you some great ideas on changing a wall colour before you do it. So you know before even buying paint. Really useful

Good app idea. Needs refining. Wouldn't use this to base my colour idea on. Doesn't work nearly as well as the ad...

Delux do care about comments? This app is desperately lacking enlargeing or zooming in to complete filling in small area's.

The worst pice of code I've ever used in my life, it even convinced me not to use your paint, disgusting!

It still needs a bit of work. The steadiness of colour is not satisfactory

Great app. Good for getting ideas. The colours seem to be quite accurate. It struggles to get colour around objects, but that's to be expected on a phone app. I think the people complaining about the colours not being accurate might be using cheaper android devices with subpar screens.

Such a bad app. Looks like a 5year old applying the colour on the walls. App cannot find the wall lines correctly. Just a waste of time

It's nice but the taping isn't the best. I think you should be able to tap a wall to colour it. Then it's easier to make different colour walls. not taping them

Good design. But if you can improve some few errors

The app needs a zoom function in order to paint the hard to reach places, also needs masking tape that can go in circular shaped walls etc., colours need to match the cards spot on.... Otherwise not too bad.

There is now way to do the trimmings a different colour. If only one can enlarge the image to paint the smaller detail it wil give you a better idea.

Now I can see before hand how the room would look like.

App does not work for exterior. Interior it is OKish. Would not recommend it to anyone though

Usefull but clearly not like the advert seems to suggest. Better than the other lot... make some improvements please.
