Downcount: Simple Countdowns

The only change I really want is that countdowns should be sorted so that soonest is first, latest is last. Integration with Google Calendar (countdown to all events except hidden (swiped away)) might be welcome but would add complexity.

Installed it, tried to add a count down, does not show up. S4 Verizon. Disappointing.

I've had ones that look much better. Easy and simple to use. The widgets could at least have transparency option though if no other nice little design detail.

It's a nice app but nerds some things like sorting, hours, and maybe cloud backup for cross device countdowns.

Very good app! Some feedback: - It would be nice to select a date from your calendar, keep it synced. - An option to display the countdown could be useful, perhaps years-months-days-hours-seconds. For this it should enable to mark an hour. Thanks!

Great app, very attractive and clean. If you add the ability to reorder countdown timers, I'll change to 5 stars

Incredibly useful app that does exactly what it says without extra unnecessaries so it is not complicated or a resource hog.

Simple. Clean. Useful. Wish the app was smaller - not sure it needs to be 3 MB for such a simple app.

Beautiful looking app but lacks features, would love if you could change the count from just day to it could include years, months, weeks, minutes & possibly even seconds

I feel like it's a pretty big oversight for a countdown app to not have sorting options. Other than that, though, this app looks great does what I need it to.

*There haven't been any updates to this for over a year and a half. I guess this app is dead, which is a shame because I had high hopes* Original review: Great countdown app, but...It would be even greater if the items automatically ordered themselves based on time left. I'd even pay premium for that feature.

I cannot add any countdowns. I press the add button then pick date and name it and then hit add, but nothing happens.

I have it counting down to something tomorrow yet it says "2 days". This makes zero sense and it should read "1 day". Please fix this and I will update my review; I even paid for the IAP.

It should hv optional account login for those who want a to sync their all countdowns on cloud. Till then this app can't be my first preference because I hv around 50 countdowns & if app or mobile fails everything's goan. One should be able to create categories under which respective countdowns will stay, because of this main screen won't look crowded & also it will be easy to search for respective countdowns in its category. Currently this app is very plain, still lot of features to be added to be best.

I'd love to see the widget updated to be able to display: 1.5 Years, or 1 Year and 6 Months, or 78 Weeks, or 1 Year / 5 Months / 3 Weeks / 4 Days, or even odd segments like 39 Fortnights. Showing counts for two or more count entries at once would also be a welcome improvement.

Not updating regularly... By not updating regularly, I don't mean the dev putting out regular updates.. I mean the app isn't updating the countdown reliably. I had 23 days until I leave for vacation. I woke up the next day, and it still said 23 days left at noon the following day.

Replaced all my previous time management apps. Still using it daily.

Looks very odd on my Nexus 6, you should use AppCompat for backwards compatible Material theming. I can't use the widget on my 6-column wide Nexus 6 because this one is limited to 3.

Clean, easy to use. Wish the text would support emoji's so I could put a sun next to vacation countdown, castle next to Disney countdown, etc. The ability to change the color of the widget bar would be nice to.

Good way to organize my big events. I only wish that I could sort my events by the days remaining though. If it could do this it would be 5/5

No doubt it could be a good app but it needs features before I'm going to consider buying it. Backup, reminders, dark theme, ordering by alpha, date or days remaining, etc

Also explain what the premium upgrade includes.

For a paid app there really isn't much flexibility. Needs to have options like viewing second, minutes, etc... Also would be nice if the widget had the ability to either launch the app or be able to add additional countdown items

A good app. Would be nice if you could reorder the items in the list and also set up alerts for items when they reach a certain amount of time remaining. But it does what it promises and is therefore worth downloading.

If you update it to lollipop design.. Then it would be 5 stars

Would be nice if the countdowns were sortable. Having a series of countdowns in the order coming is easier to decipher than using the order created.

Won't let me organize the events. Also it won't let me delete past events

Great app design. Does what you need / want it to do without a bunch of extra.

Would've gave it five stars if support for different languages was added. Tried to title one in Russian and it just put a bunch of question marks in place.

...a (optional) notification that a countdown is about to expire or has expired would be really handy.
