Vachana (ವಚನ)

Vachana sahitya is a form of rhythmic writing in Kannada that flourished in the 12th century, as a part of the Sharana movement. The word vachanas literally means "(that which is) said". These are readily intelligible prose texts.This app is the collection of more than 21000 vachanas along with the many features which are listed below. This application is the part of an attempt to make the Kannada literature adapt to evolving modern mediums and make the knowledge accessible to everyone for free.

Main features of the application:
• Contains more than 21000 vachanas.
• Works offline completely. Vachanas as embedded inside the application itself
• Users can maintain a list of favourite Vachanas and Vachanakaras
• Shows meaning of the word on selection by opening the webpage (Requires internet)
• Search and filter functionality
• Visual settings

Application is designed with simplicity as focus under Material Design guidelines.
